If it weren't for that flat tire, I would've forgiven Brad and I would've realized that he changed. I really thought he would be the same jerk I knew in highschool. I really believe that people can change if they wanted to. Since I got back here, paparazzi were lesser than before and news about me began to sink. I wasn't expecting that Elyar would have the power to control that. He changed a lot too.

"Here we are Ma'am." Bradley pulled over and waited for me to go out so he could park the car and go straight home.

"Just call me Sam. Just like the old days." I said and went inside so I could rest already. I went directly to my room and jumped on my bed without changing my clothes and taking my shoes off. I took my contacts and placed it on a wet surface I touched, which I assumed to be the case of my contact lens and slept right away and didn't mind that I even have my make up on.

--

I woke up with blurry vision and stretched my hand to take my glasses. Yes, I still have it so I could wear my contact lenses properly. I went to the bathroom and washed my face only to feel multiple bumps on my cheek. I hurriedly took my glasses to see what's wrong with my face.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!" I shouted as loud as I can as I saw the horrible thing that grew on my face. Pimples.

"What the hell?! Why now?! URGH!!!!!! The wedding's in a week and I have to prepare for Chrissy's Bridal Shower! Shit! this isn't happening!!!!!" I shouted as I went back to the table only to find out that I placed my contact lenses on a glass of water which was there all day yesterday.

I poured the water only to see two ripped contact lenses on the sink. GREAT! JUST GREAT!

"SAM! SAM! What happened?! I heard you screaming!" Seth started knocking rather hard on my door.

"uuhhhm It's nothing. I just.. uuhhhh. Just wait for me downstairs. I'll be in a minute." I told him which lessened the knocking on the door.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah. Totally. I-I'll be uhhm.. having a day at the spa today so don't wait for me okay?" I told him.

"okay. I'll tell Brad to take you there." Seth said which worried me. What if he'll see me and take back the things he said last night? What if he'll be disgusted? Everyone treats me like I'm some kind of a disease when my face is like this.

"no! I can handle my own. Just don't call for him." I told him but he was not there anymore. Shit! just UUUUGH!!!!

I took a shower as quickly as possible so Bradley wouldn't catch up with me. Besides, he came home late last night. I'm sure he'll be late.

I told myself as I covered my face with a pair of sunglass who has the same grade scale as my eyeglasses and a black scarf. Nobody has to see me like this.

I sneaked out and ran towards the exit and was about to do my SUCCESS dance when all of a sudden, Bradley showed up in Seth's car.

"hop on. Seth told me where you'll go." Brad said as I hide my face on the scarf I wore.

"What's with the scarf?" He asked me as I went inside. He must not know.

"I don't want to talk about it." I said as he turned the engine on and went to the Spa I was supposed to be in.

"Here we are. I'll wait here in the car." Bradley said as he opened the door for me.

I was about to enter the Spa when all of a sudden, a strong wind tackled me that made my scarf and sunglasses fall. Bradley was able to catch the scarf though. This is the end of me.

"Here's your scarf." He said as he gave the scarf back to me.

"Well? you can go now Sam." He said not even bothered by my face.

"I can't see clearly. I don't have my glasses. It's in the car." I told him which he took and wore it on me.

"are you okay?" He said as I evade his stare. I don't want him to see me like this.

"Don't look at me. I know I look horrible." I told him as I picked my sunglasses on the floor.

"Oh. you mean that? So that's why you're going here." He told me. I hurriedly went inside only to be stopped by him again.

"You don't look horrible. You're beautiful no matter how many pimples you have." He told me.

"You told me that years ago either which only lead me to nothing but bad memories. I'm not falling for that again." I said. I didn't mean to be that cold but I leaned my lesson. I'm not going to fall for the same trick ever again.

"Whatever you say Sam." He said as he went to the driver's seat and waited until I'm done with my session.

I went inside and was greeted by many employees and was lead to the VIP section, as what they call it.

After an hour and a half, my face was back to normal, although the places were big pimples grew are a bit sore and red, but it will heal just before the wedding. I hope so.

I went to the car only to see Bradley sleeping. He must be really tired last night. Maybe a couple of minutes won't hurt right?

I walked towards the eye center to have my eyes checked and have my contact lenses made ready before lunch today. I did some shopping while I'm at it also just to give Bradley some time to rest.

Why do I care that much? because I'm the one who caused him to have an overtime at work. I'm not used to make an employee suffer because of me.

When my contacts were done, I saw Seth's car parked in front of the eye center which shocked me. How did he even knew where I was? I didn't tell anyone about this.

"The next time you see me sleeping, just wake me up, Don't just walk towards somewhere this far just to give me a nap time." He said grumpily. What's his deal? Can't he be just thankful that I'm kind enough to give him that.

"fine." I said as he turned the engine on and went back to the resort. I won't talk to him until he thank me for giving him what I know he needs at the moment. Grumpy Bradley. Yeah, I'll call him that.

When we arrived at the resort, I quickly went inside without looking back at him. He's going to park Seth's car anyway. He called for me but I didn't look back. I continued to ignore him until I saw Elyar and decided to be with him. He's a better companion than Grumpy Bradley.

"Hey. How's your day?" Elyar asked as he kissed my cheek. Good thing he missed the one that's been treated the most.

"It's been great. I'm expecting some tailors to arrive today. Just wanted to let you know that. They work for my company in Paris so they're not that fluent in english. I asked for a translator though." I informed him.

"Okay. I'll let my employees know. I bet they're going to make the most astonishing gowns for you and your sister-in-law." He said as I laughed in agreement to him.

I wish I could just talk like this to Bradley without doubting if he's telling me the truth or not. I just wish he didn't use me in the past so I won't have some trust issues against him. Anyway, just one more week and I'm out of here. I'll be away from him and I'll find a guy who's and opposite of him.

Yeah, I'll do that.

Will she ever find a guy like that? Stay tuned for the next chapter! :)
