Nothing Is Normal (invader Zim X reader)

While walking out of the skool building, Dib caught up to you, "hey" he greeted you, "oh, hi Dib", you greeted back, " sooooo, I saw you talking with the alien, what was that all about?" You turned to Dib, "oh don't worry, we were mostly arguing, it wasn't about you". Dib raised his eyebrow, "Zim talking about me isn't what I'm worried about", Dib said, as  You both left skool grounds, "I'm just, happy that one person can also see through Zims horrible disguise" you let out a small giggle, "and I'm just happy that I'm going home". You two continued to walk, and some of the other kids walking home ,started to separate, into their own streets, Dib stopped,"well, this is my street, it was amazing to meet you, (y/n), well, see ya" and with that, Dib started to walk away, "yeah, you too! Bye Dib!" You yelled, in a happy manner. While you headed down your own street, you couldn't shake the feeling that someone was following you, you turned around, and of course, the person you make eye contact with, is the one and only Zim. He quickened his pace, until he was besides you, "oh, hey Zim, do you live on my street?" "Well, of course! Were else would I live?" You stuck out your tongue at Zim just to show playfulness, Zim looked at you for a few minutes, before mimicking the same behavior, you noticed how his tongue looked serpent looking. You teased him, "well, I would assume that you lived on another planet", Zim glared at you for a minute, "you don't really believe Dib? Do you?" You paused for a minute, did you believe Dib? It was hard to say, "well I don't wanna be mean or rude, but yeah I believe him" Zim looked at you for a few minutes, "so you're a lot smarter than the rest of them..." He mumbled. "Interesting...tell me human, your not from this town are you?" "No, I just moved here not too long ago, why?" Zim didn't respond, the rest of the walk, was just Zim trying to get things out of you, constantly asking questions like; "were did you originally come from?",And the strangest one; "if I were an alien invader, which I'm not! What would you consider doing to me?" You decided not to answer the weird and suspicious questions, just the casual ones, again you couldn't afford to mess this up. You stopped as soon as you reached your stop, Zim stopped as well, "wait you live in this house?" Zim asked, "yeah I do, and I assume you live in that ominous house?" You pointed to the  green house you had seen when you first arrived, Zim looked over to were you were pointing, "is it really that obvious?" He asked, you nodded, "well yeah....anyhow I've gotta go, see ya". You opened, the small gate to your house, you turned to look at Zim one more time, but saw him leaving, that's when you finally got inside to think about what had happened today meanwhile Zim had other plans....

Zim had entered his own home, or rather secret base, he was quickly greeted by an insane little Gir, "welcome home master!" "Greetings Gir, I have to make a call with The Tallest, come quickly!", "yes sir!" Gir responded while following Zim. The elevator started to go down into the heart of the base, which was were Zim made calls and plotted his evil schemes. Zim felt something in his pocket, reaching in he pulled out the drawing that you had let him borrow, he opened it, the drawing was a little smudged due to it being folded, but it was still clear to see what it was. Zim held onto it for the rest of the elevator ride, "oooh, what's that?" Gir asked being curious, "something that's hopefully going to help us out Gir, you'll see, my new plan is a risky one, but hopefully it's worth it, all I need is permission from the tallest". Gir gave his master a smile, "master, what are you planing?" Zim let out a chuckle "something amazing".
