Nothing Is Normal (invader Zim X reader)

"Whoa.." you were absolutely speechless..you've only ever seen an Irken ship from afar..but being up close and personal with one was a whole different experience. As carefully as you could you touched the ship. It was a voot cruiser. You continued to touch it, sliding your hand up the side of it, until..you found a small button..you beamed and immediately pushed it without thinking twice. The Windows at the front popped up..if anything this was one of the dumbest things that you wanted to do..but you just couldn't contain yourself! Swiftly you jumped into the ship. The chair was soft and the buttons gave a comforting glow, you laughed "haha, feels kinda right and illegal at the same time but-", you couldn't finish, Dib immediately ran into the room, "there you are! What are you doing?! Zim's on our tail already!" Your heart dropped "crap.." you and Dib made a break for it you could hear Zim's laughter already, not only did you hear his laughter..but you also heard him say.. "computer! Capture the intruders!" You started running faster hoping to make it..but..it was too late. Some metal wires wrapped themselves around you and flung you up into the air. Same thing with DIb..only..he was upside down.

You laid on a metal table next to Dib ' why did you decide to do this again?! You stupid idiot!' You thought angrily to yourself..but maybe this was a second chance to know why Zim had caught you the first time..within a few minutes Gir came in and started dragging Dib away on his levitating table, "ah! (Y/n) stay there! I'll be back!" You sarcastically rolled your eyes, "not like I can go anywhere", "hehe no, Stupid human, you can't" you lifted your head up a bit to see Zim, but you did nothing. "You didn't let Zim finish the last time I caught you" you sighed in frustration, "I know..all I remember from last time was you saying you wanted me for my art..and that I was gonna be your prisoner for you to study" Zim paced around "well yes, I suppose you're correct..however, the only reason I caught you was to scare you, Zim thought..that..that was the only way to reason with humans..but surprisingly, the almighty Zim! Was incorrect". You continue to look at Zim not keeping your eyes off him.."so..what do you mean exactly?" Zim stopped, he pushed a button on the table that made it go right side up, that way you were facing him, "as I said last time" he continued "you are more intelligent than other humans..and..Zim knows that some humans don't treat you fairly..you are..a defective..aren't you? Back at your old home, humans "bullied" you, correct?" You were shocked..how did he know? What was scarier..was that Zim actually looked sorry for you. Something an Irken could never feel...'sorrow'. It was silent, Zim shook the awkwardness away "now, stink- eh, I mean..human (y/n), I know that you aren't easily afraid of Irkens" Zim took a step forward.."however..would you consider the offer..of not being my slave, but rather..my acquaintance?" Zim went ahead and took off your hand cuffs, setting you free "I..I'll think about it..on one condition! I'll be your acquaintance if I get to study you just as much as you study me, agreed?" You took your hand out, Zim hesitated "okay human, you can observe and study Zim only if you do exactly what I say! And you have to show me how to be more human!" With that he shook your hand "okay I agree but, you have to let me and Dib go in one piece" Zim growled "fine, however promise Zim you'll destroy whatever pictures the DIb-stink took, okay?" "Yes sir, the almighty short one"  "you pig-smelly".
