Chapter 7 - Twins

"Victory party at my house tonight! Anyone who wants to sleepover can. Whole school is invited" Kisses yelled after finding out that she won secretary of the student council.

"Are we going twin?" I asked Edward

"Off course, we have every reason to celebrate" he answered, after he said this, he saw Heaven in the corner. She looked so sad. After all, she just lost to Kisses. So I said, "I think your friend need you twin".

He looked at the direction I was looking at and saw Heaven, he looked back at me and said "Uhh, wait for me twin, okay? I'll just talk to her and make sure she is okay."

Edward left me to console Heaven, to which I felt a slight irritation. "Why do i feel this way? I do not own Edward. Ugh, whatever. " I thought. I started walking to the bulletin board again and re-check the results. Tanner won as president, though he is not the president in my party, I know he will do a good job. Tanner is one of the brightest guys in the senior class, he tops in most classes and is in constant competition in being the first honor of their class. Aside from that, he is also very good looking, almost like Clark Kent since he also wears glasses.

For VP, I won but so did Edward. We tied in the number of votes and instead of doing a re-election, the teachers decided to give the position to both of us. Apparently, this has happened in the past in the school as well, and that was what they did. To be honest, if it was not Edward, I don't think I can share the position with anyone else. Since Edward and I are practically twins, I can't imagine us disagreeing on much, so this is just fine.

Kisses won as secretary and that is why she is throwing a huge victory party tonight. I can hear her talking to her parents already telling them the good news. She is already telling them about the party and sleep over happening at her house tonight. The whole junior class is going to the party and some freshmen, sophomores and senior.

I only realize that Edward was already beside me when he started to talk, "Can you believe twin? You and I both won. We are sharing the position. Are you okay with that May?"

"Twin, why wouldn't I be? The load of work will be divided between you and I, I think this will be fun. By the way, how is Heaven? I asked

"Oh, she is just a bit sad and disappointed" he answered

"Is she still coming to the victory party tonight?" I asked him since Kisses is the one throwing the party, her competitor. To be honest, I don't know why but I am kinda hoping that she won't come. Since that incident in the washroom and knowing how he swayed Edward, I just can't help but feel a bit of annoyance towards her.

"Well, she said she will think about it. If she does decide to come, she will text me" he answered

I just nodded to this and said, "Okay, now let's both go home, have some rest and get ready to party!!! Woo!"

"Woo!" he answered as he put his arms around me. This is nothing new because we are really close but why does it feel....weird all of a sudden? My heart is starting to beat a little faster than normal. Not liking what I am currently feeling, I started to walk faster leaving Edward there.

"Faster twin, I need to curl my hair" I said and continued to walk faster.

He ran after me but kept silent until we reached the gate. We saw Kisses near the gate and she offered us a ride. Edward and I both accepted though he got off at my house and insist that he will just walk home. Kisses also informed us that she will send her driver to pick us up so we don't have to worry about getting to her house. Edward said to just pick him up from my house since he will come here after he gets ready.

As soon as Kisses dropped us off, Edward turned to me "Twin, congratulations. You deserve it so much. I know the whole campaign hasn't been easy on both of us, but I am so happy that we are able to share this victory together. There is no one I'd rather share my happy memories with than the most special girl in my life right now. Well, aside from my mom and sister off course" he said as he chucked.
