Chapter 14 - NES

We went to a fancy restaurant even though Edward and I insisted we go home first because we are wearing our school uniform. Our parents' didn't budge though and said it was fine. They even insisted that we keep our medals on because they are that proud of us. I was just blushing the whole time and Edward was laughing at my reaction.

They sat us in a round table and I was sitting in between my mom and Edward, beside him is Laura, Tita Cathy, Tito Kevin, and my dad. The waiter took our order and I ordered the seafood medley since I love seafood. As we were waiting for our order, Laura was bothering Edward to switch seats with him as she wants to sit beside me.

Laura is such a character, she is funny and crazy. Edward is right, I do like his sister because she is just as crazy as me. Even with Laura constantly bothering him, he wouldn't budge.

"Laura, I said no. I want to be beside my twinnie as much as I can because we will be separated for a month" he told his sister

"I know Edward, but this is the first time I am meeting her and I just want to get to know her more, please brother!" she pleaded

"No, I want to sit beside my twin" he said

They looked so cute arguing over who gets to seat beside me. Aside from the fact that we will be separated for a month, I know that this is Edward's way of making up for loss time so I totally understand him. But I felt so bad for Laura and she wouldn't stop bothering Edward and his parents.

"Mom, please convince Edward, please." She pleaded with Tita Cathy

Tita Cathy just laughed at Laura and didn't even bother convincing Edward because she knows it is a loss cause. However, my mom eventually felt bad for Laura so she switched seats with her. Laura was so happy and she wouldn't stop talking to me about everything and nothing. I was just laughing the whole time with her until I felt someone tapping my shoulder.

I turned around and saw a sulking Edward behind me, "Hello twin, did you forget that I exist?" he said.

"Sorry twin, but your sister is just so funny." I told him.

I turned around and pinched his cheeks, "Stop sulking twinnie. Remember tomorrow, you have me for the whole day! All yours" I said

This seemed to have lighten his mood because he finally flashed me his perfect smile. Our food finally arrived and my dish looks perfect. Grilled tilapia, shrimp, mussels, and squid with rice. When the rest of the food arrived on the table, my dad led a silent prayer and we all held hands while praying.

After the prayer, Edward would not let go of my hand so I said, "Twin, I need both of my hands to eat"

"Oh sorry" he uttered with a smile.

I just smiled at my crazy twin. Ever since our prom night, he became more clingy and possessive than usual which I didn't mind. I am actually enjoying his company so much, probably because  I also miss him too.

I started attacking my food using my hands.

"OMG! What Edward said is true!" Laura blurted

"Huh? What did he say?" I asked looking at Edward shaking her head at Laura.

Laura didn't care though, she started saying, "Well, my brother said... wait, let me imitate him." she said and coughed, "If you bring her to a fancy restaurant, as you give Maymay fish, she would eat with her hands and not care what the other people are thinking" she said trying to imitate her brother's voice.

"You said that?" I asked Edward

But Laura answered instead, "Yes he did, he said it's one of the qualities he likes about you. He also said it is always a laugh with you. I can see that now, you are such a nice person to be around" she said
