Chapter 21 - Back To Reality

Edward and I decided to walk to school together, so I am currently waiting for him to pick me up. As soon as I finished brushing my teeth, I heard someone knocking and I immediately ran to the door.

As I opened it, I see a very handsome Edward, smiling brightly

"Good morning my boyfriend"I greeted.

"Good morning my beautiful girlfriend" he greeted back as he kissed my cheeks. "Are tito and tita still here?" he asked.

"Nope, they left early for work today twinnie." I told him.

"Ahh..so that means, I can do this" he said as he pulled me in and planted a kiss on my lips.

Ever since we officially became together, he kissed me every chance he got but always keeping his boundaries. Whenever we are surrounded by family, the most he would do is hold my hand. That is one of the things I love about him, he didn't change. He still shows his love for me through every little things he does; good morning texts, ensuring that I eat, and most of all, respect. He respects me in every aspect but more than that, he respects my family.

Mom and Dad are actually happy about my relationship with Edward. They like him. They also claim that they knew long before that there is something special between Edward and I even before we made it official in the summer.

"Edward!" I said as I can feel him deepening the kiss between us.

"Sorry baby, got carried away. I just really missed you" he apologized as he kissed my forehead.

"No worries baby, it's just that we might be late for the first day of our senior year" I reminded him.

"Right, but one more kiss babe?" he asked.

"Just one, okay?" I said, giving in. Of course I gave in, I also cannot resist him.

"Okay. I love you" he said as he kissed me again.

"I love you too baby" I answered.

We walked to school holding each other's hand, as he would occasionally kiss mine. Edward and I have been dating for almost a month now and the butterflies are still in my stomach. I still feel like melting every time I think of him, much more when I am beside him.

"Twin, you ready? It's our last year of high school. Senior year!" I told him excitedly.

"Yeah, senior year! Let's make it one for the books, okay? Let's rule the school baby!" he answered enthusiastically as well.

As soon as we entered the school, people were looking at us. At first, I was wondering why until I realized that Edward is still holding my hand.

"Twin, people are looking" I told him as I gestured the students' watchful eyes.

"Let them be baby. They're just jealous" he answered.

"And that we definitely are" Fenech and Vivoree screamed behind us.

I looked back and saw our classmates behind us. We all hugged each other and said our hello and I miss you.

"Edward, you and Maymay?! Finally!" Marco exclaimed and I looked at my boyfriend fist bumping him.

"So who said I love you first?" Fenech asked.

"Him" I pointed at Edward.

"Me" Edward told them.

"Wow, Maymay, let me braid your hair! It's too long" Fenech teased.

"Oh shhh it" I told them and we all laughed.
