"Jin! Where the hell are you?! How are you going to just up and disappear like that?! Are you trying to age me?! You better call me back after this!"

*Beep

"Hey.  Listen, I really am sorry for what my mother said. I should have defended you more. I just....I'm sorry just call me back when you get this..."

*Beep

"Jin, don't do anything crazy alright!? You can talk to me. Just ...think about your kids....Call me back"

*Beep

"Okay that last message was stupid. Listen, I know you didn't take that necklace. I don't know how that necklace got in your hoodie. But I just have this feeling about you. Wait,  no that doesn't sound right-"

*Beep

"........... It's Namjoon again. I know I've probably called you a thousand times....  I know...that we've only known each other for a couple of months but if I were truly honest with myself, it feels like I've known you for much longer than that. I don't get it. This feeling. I should be having it with Mi-Rae. And yet.....I fe-"

Namjoon was immediately cut off by the automated system and swore under his breath as he hung up his cell. He was standing on the back patio of his home. He had rushed all the way here to confront Jin but the young father was no where to be found. Panic seemed to only escalate when Jin failed to answer any of his calls.

Why wasn't he picking up the phone?!

Namjoon leaned over the rail and lowered his head. "Jin...where are you?"

--------------------------------

Jin watched as the LED screen of his phone finally blacked out and lowered it back unto his lap with a sigh. Sorry, Namjoon.  He knew that if he answered the phone, he'd falter, chicken out, and turn back home. He had come this far. He couldn't turn back now.

It had been a long time since he had been to Gyeongju. The last time was when he was just a kid, no older than seven. It was a field trip with his school. That much he could recall. He barely remembered it, to be honest.  But from what his mother had told him, he gave the teachers a pretty rough time.

Apparently, he didn't want to leave and had to literally be dragged back on the bus. Again, Jin didn't remember any of this at all but at the time , he didn't think nothing of it. Just a small tantrum he had as a kid. But now he was wondering if there was a reason why he didn't want to leave.

It was a good twenty minutes before he had traveled into the very heart of the city and once his eyes fell on the building known as the Gyeongju National Museum, he knew that his stop was coming up.

He had made a phone call earlier this morning to ask if there were any tours happening today. History was never his favorite subject and quite honestly, he was terrible at it.
