My jaw dropped when I saw Yoongi standing at the edge of the cliff.
One step was enough for him to fall into the depths of the abyss.

Is he going to jump?!

"I'm sorry", I heard him speak while looking at the sky.
"I know you wouldn't like it, but that's the way I feel."

Reality hit me. If this was the place that Minah died, then how likely was it that Yoongi came to this place as well? Had he been talking to her just now?

Yoongi looked down towards the ocean and the massive waves clashing against the wall of the cliff.

My mind was rushing. He seemed like he was definitely going to jump now.

"YOONGI!!", I yelled, startling him.
Without thinking, I ran towards him and pulled him back from the edge.

"DON'T JUMP!", I yelped, holding onto his arm.

Shocked at my sudden appearance, he needed a moment to gather himself.

Then, he shook me off like a bug.
"What the hell? I wasn't going to jump, you idiot."

"You weren't?"
I gave him a confused look.

"What are you even doing here? Did you follow me?", he sneered at me.

I felt so stupid and embarrassed now.

"I didn't follow you. I actually come here often for walks myself."

That seemed to have made him even angrier.
"This place is dangerous! How can you be so stupid and take walks next to cliffs?"

I started to get angry at him myself.
"Well you're one to say! You go and stroll around the edge of the cliffs like you want to jump off!"

"I wasn't even that close!", he argued back.

"Well, sorry for interrupting you, I just wanted to help!", I huffed.
His face softened a little.

Suddenly, he realized something.
"How long have you been standing there for?"

I gasped internally. He had been talking to himself, or Minah, and I had overheard a bit.

"I ran for you as soon as I saw you", I lied.

He just nodded and turned around to look at the ocean again.

"People died falling off of these cliffs", he spoke with a pained tone.
"This is a popular spot for commiting suicide."

He had indirectly spoken of Minah too just now.

"That's why I got so angry finding out that you came here", he admitted.
"Accidents happen, people slip or the edge breaks off."

It made sense now that he had always been so curious as to where I was taking walks. He had even warned me once that there were dangerous places around here.
