Ivy was convinced that she'd purchased her weight in items from Bath and Body Works! She had every kind of hand soap known to mankind and then some. She had purchased body washes for the bathrooms and several different lotions, and realized she had no idea how much retail therapy could sooth a savage beast!

Once they had completed that list they moved on to the Target list. While making that list earlier Ivy had decided that she was no longer going to settle and buy cheap anymore; clothes, shoes, purses and even dishes. She was worth a hell of a lot more so she wasn't going to deprive herself anymore. Wallace was paying her a handsome salary and she could afford to splurge on herself.

"Krista what do you think about this pattern?" Ivy asked holding up a plate. It was ironic that it had the same pink hue as the counter tops in her apartment along with a smattering of that lovely beige-ish cream color.

They were nice and heavy which meant they would be sturdy and would probably hold up to being knocked around a bit. Ivy wasn't known to be the most gentle when it came to dishes and glasses.

Krista nodded enthusiastically. "It suits you and it goes with your kitchen perfectly. Now, what do you think about these glasses? You need ice tea glasses and juice glasses" she offered.

The glasses she spoke of were very thick, and sturdy as well, and had an interesting snowflake type pattern on them. Ivy thought they were perfect.

She bought a set of Pioneer Woman cookware, the Vintage Speckle in a beautiful ivory. It had everything her little heart desired.

Krista stopped their forward momentum and looked over at her friend. "I'm so proud of you Bells. It would seem that my words of wisdom have finally started soaking through that stubborn southern head of yours. I've been telling you for ten years now that you are so worth the best of everything."

Ivy knew she was right, and that was one of the many reasons she wasn't bigger than she was. She had started eating healthier, not rabbit food eating but good lean meats and plenty of fresh veggies. She had also cut out all sugars and most of her carb intake as well. However, exercise is the area she suffered the most, but now that her apartment had such a grand work out facility she no longer had any excuses.

"I know Krista, I know. You've been telling me that for years and I'm sorry it's taken me this long to finally listen to you. Now, before we end up in a hormonal mess from all of this bonding let's get the rest of the stuff on the list. I'm ready to go clothes shopping!"

And that, ladies and gentlemen, was definitely a huge hurdle to overcome! Krista could never get her friend interested in shopping because she was too busy paying attention to what society's definition of what a beautiful woman was. Emaciated with no curves. Well that was just plain wrong and maybe Ivy had finally started accepting herself. With the personality she had, combined with her new found confidence, she would definitely find a man!

With her list complete and purchases paid for, they decided to drop the shopping off at Ivy's car before heading to the boutique.

Krista had done a google search of the clothing store and not only had it gotten rave customer reviews, they carried a variety of sizes, styles and colors of everything she would need for work.

The thing that both girls experienced when they stepped inside the clothing boutique was a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. And then they were approached by the sweetest looking older woman; her smile electric and addicting.

"Good afternoon ladies and welcome to Rachel's" she said cheerfully. "Now which of you lovely girls is Ivy Glenn?" Um okay. That's not weird and awkward, yet strangely satisfying. How did this woman know who she was?
