6: Why?!

Madison's POV

Noong bata pa ako, I was referred as an Ugly duckling.

I was an Illegitimate child. Nang mamatay ang Mama ko when I was six years old, my Dad picked me up at dinala sa bahay niya. He was a business man. May tatlo itong anak na babae, and there's me. Compared to my lovely Sisters I was always the Ugly and gloomy one. They always say mean things and verbally abuse me. I'm always alone. They always make me feel that I'm not belong in their family. I didn't care though dahil I feel I deserve everything.

I'm not confident and I do know how unattractive I am. That's why I hide behind my books. I'm so happy with my own space. But when I turned 18 my Stepmother or should I say my Father's Wife pushed me on the stairs. I thought,

Yes, just kill me.

I was hospitalized for two weeks yet no one visited me. Masyadong busy si Dad. I had no friends. I was a nerd and an outcast kahit sa school.

I'm so alone.

I cried every night from the pain and misery I've been hiding. I don't want to live like this but where should I go?

After I discharged in the hospital. Pinuntahan ko si Dad. I beg him to let me study in Korea, but I'll promise after graduating I'll cut every connection with them. And did you know? He didn't even hesitate and said 'ok'

That's the last time I saw him. My sisters are all bitches kaya sobrang natutuwa sila.

It was hard at first after I graduate dahil wala na akong sustento galing sa kanila. I was struggling before dahil isa lamang akong freelancer na author. I can barely eat three times a day pero nang na tiyambahan ko ang isang grand prize sa isang web novel competition and was scouted. There my life as an author started.

And then I met you... your smile heals me. Hey did you know? That my novels are all about you...

" Seven " I called you out. Humarap ka tapos ngumiti saakin labas ang mapuputi mong ngipin, your dimples are visible. But after I smiled lumapit ka saakin at hinawakan ang pisngi ko. Pinunasan mo ang namumuong luha sa mga mata ko. Then you removed my glasses. You turned Red when I stared at you.

In a bashful voice you called me a Coffee Monster, Red Freak and a Heels dork. Natawa ako kasi kahit inaasar mo ako your red blushing face was too adorable I can't helped but to smile. Sobrang ngiti ko pakiramdam ko mapupunit na yung labi ko kakangiti.

I'm not an Ugly Duckling anymore.

It would be nice if you kissed me I thought. As if like hearing it. You leaned forward and pecks a kiss on my lips. It was warm. Your lips that touches mine.

And I know I'm dreaming.

Napabukas ako ng mga mata.

" Shit, I knew it! It's too good to be true...haaaa! Even though that was a good dream! " Sabi ko sabay hawak sa noo ko. Huh? Wait? A towel? May towel kasi sa noo ko, and gosh...the ceiling looks familiar but it's not mine?! Napalunok ako at dahan dahang napatingin sa kaliwa ko...something is laying beside me...I can feel it.

And boom.

There's a yummy being laying beside me. I gulped, at nag Rosario.

" In the name of the Father, The son and the Holy Spirit..THANK YOU! Omg! Just thank you!!! " I whispered and iniipit ang kilig ko. Napakagat labi pa ako para pigilan ang fan girling ko but when I glanced again at my side. Seven was wide awake! I mean half asleep?
