" Daddy! Daddy! Mag empake kana, sabay na tayong umuwi sa bahay! Hinihintay na po tayo ni Mommy. " - Maggie.

" E-eh? " - Seven.

Now I'm f*cked. Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya. How can I---just how can I refuse those sparkling eyes cause of excitement? How can I stomach to disappoint this cute little thing infront of me? JUST HOW?!! But....I have to--

" Mommyyyyy!! " Maggie exclaimed, she was shouting excitedly while we wait infront of their..err shabby apartment. Now that I saw this place personally, I can't let Maggie live here. Masyadong maliit ang lugar, walang masyadong poste ng ilaw sa kalsada na siguradong magiging delekado ang pag-lalakad lalo na kapag gabi.

" Mommy? "

Maggie rang the door bell again, but no one opened the door. Doon nakita kong medyo nag alala na ang expression ni Maggie. She start to knock then bang the door repeatedly while shouting Mommy, and I had this mix feelings while I heard her saying ' Mommy '

" Umm, do you have a spare key? " I asked her, ngunit umiling lamang siya. " Maybe, umalis siya saglit. " I then added but She just look at me while frowning.

" May sakit si Mommy, Daddy. Kagabi pa po siya nilalagnat. " When she said that agad na din akong nag-alala. I didn't know what gotten into me and I started banging the door loudly while shouting her name. " Madison! Madison!! " pero walang sumasagot. " Maggie step back. " I said, umatras naman ito. Then just one strong kick nasira ko yung pintuan. Jesus, talk about safety! this door wasn't even sturdy!

Agad akong pumasok sa loob, a simple room welcomed me. Kahit maliit lamang sa loob at kaunti lamang ang mga gamit, malinis ito. I saw a single door inside the room and I know that's were She is. Nakita kong tumakbo si Maggie sa loob she was shouting " MOMMY " while crying kaya tumakbo na agad ako doon, there I saw her lying on the bed. She was breathing heavily while her eyes were close. Lumapit ako sa kaniya. " Madison! " hinawakan ko siya sa noo. She's burning with fever!

" Maggie come on, dadalin natin ang Mommy mo sa ospital! " as I pick her in my arms napansin ko na pumayat siya. She was thin before but she lose weight, I know. Binuhat ko siya sa kotse kasama si Maggie sa back seat ng kotse ko at humarurot papunta sa pinakamalapit na ospital. I was in panic na kulang na lang e mabangga kami. " Doctor! help her! she's having a fever since last night. " I said, agad naman kaming dinaluhan nito. Maggie was beside me crying kaya kinarga ko siya ng ilagay na nila sa stretcher si Madison.

" Kami na po ang bahala sa asawa ninyo Mister, please sign the necessary papers. " Sabi nung nurse at dinala na nila si Madison. Doon lamang ako nakahinga ng maluwag, but then naalala ko ang sinabi niya.

sabi ko sa loob-loob ko. Inayos ko na ang lahat ng mga papeles at mga babayaran, minabuti ko na ring ipa-check up siya just to assure Maggie na sa sobrang iyak at pagod ay nakatulog na. She was sleeping peacefully habang karga karga ko siya. She was muttering ' Mommy ' in her sleep kaya naman naaawa ako. When the observation was done, pumasok na kami sa loob ng kwarto. The doctor said she's fine now at hintayin na lang daw ang resulta ng check-up. I nodded at hinayaan na silang umalis.
