Chapter 3

Seven's POV

* sigh *
" Vincent, should I just enroll her? "
I asked Vincent halfheartedly while he casually gulped his whiskey.

" You, sure? "
He answered nonchalantly. I know this guy don't care. That's why I glared at him so much he stop playing with the glass that he was holding.

" Hindi ka nakakatulong! I'm troubled here! "
I snarled then snatched the glass in his hand. I poured some alcohol and drank it in one go.

" You're her guardian right? Why should I decide for you? "
This guy—what's the point of him being here kung wala naman pala siyang maipapayo? Bakit ba lahat ng kaibigan ko literal na walang pakialam sa tao? This dude resembled someone —Jhiro.

" ... "

" If she wanted to go to school that much—why not let her? "
He said after I didn't speak for awhile.

Yes, you heard him right.
Madison wants to attend to school. But the problem is—she's 13!! She's a 13 years old young girl trapped inside of a adult woman. What will happened if I enrolled her alongside with kids her age but not at the same appearance as her? Pano kung ma-bully siya?

Third Persons POV

It's been two weeks since Madison and Seven lived together. Even though her leg wasn't completely healed yet, Seven was in utter disbelief when this young girl —Madison said she wanted to go to school.

It was a shocking moment where he didn't know what to say. Rather hindi niya alam kung ano ang dapat niyang sabihin. He didn't want to turned her down or permit her right away. It's too complicated. Seven simply gave a crooked and forced smile and answered in a gentle voice. " I'll think about it—"

Sa dalawang linggo na pagsasama nila sa iisang bubong, base sa ikinikilos ni Madison. She treats Seven as a mere guardian taking after her temporarily. This gave Seven the lonely feeling na hindi siya pinagkakatiwalaan nito. Yes, at first he felt Madison let her guard down a bit but that didn't mean na sobrang close na nila. He did not know that Madison was a child that never let's others take care of her, be worried about her. Kung ngang hindi lamang ito nakasaklay at kailangang tulungan sa pagkilos o pagbibihis. He can picture how Madison would made him not to  mind her at all.

She's too close yet too far—
He feels useless.
He basically don't know anything about Madison. Ang tanging alam lamang niya ay hindi mabuti ang turing ng Step Mother at ng mga half sisters nito sa kaniya dati, making her moved out from them. He never knew that this Madison makes him feel how unlove she was before. He should have know better than anyone else—that feeling of being unwanted.

Nakaramdam siya ng kirot sa puso habang iniisip kung gaano naging mahirap para sa isang batang Madison ang lumaki sa poder ng ganoong pamilya. And it made his heart aches just a thought of it. He wanted to love and spoiled her hanggang sa abot ng makakaya niya, but then he knows Madison didn't want that. She doesn't want to trouble Seven that's why she wanted to go to school.

He sighed.
He feels that letting Madison do what she wants was the best, but he was worried. Ayaw niyang malamang nabubully ito sa school o makaani ng mga mapanghusgang titig mula sa iba.

" So you're that convinced that Miss Madison was a type of a kid that can easily be bullied? " The man beside him spoke. He looks at him with confusion and he knitted his brows.
