Once I had woken up I groggily rolled out of my bed and I was walking around. My side hurt so much. As I limped around I felt utterly useless. Clarke walked up to me with determination on her face. "Marcus Kane wants to see you." Clarke informed her confused. I couldn't say I wasn't confused either. I walked up to the tent and I saw him in front of me he looked slightly regretful.

"Miss Blackwell how are you?" He asked me politely making me even more confused.

"Does this conversation have a point? Other than putting me in the sky box I honestly have never met you before." I commented dryly slumping in my chair.

"I just, I had a conversation with my mother, after you were born." He informed me in a straightforward voice making me roll my eyes.

"So what? Your mothers nice, she used to teach me. Doesn't mean this conversation has a point." I bit quickly. He then huffed obviously annoyed making me smirk.

"Your parents were floated saving the ark." He confessed making me narrow my eyes to him.

"And I should care why? Too bad. I have things to do. Which don't involve killing people unlike the things you have to do." I drawled out annoyed as I walked out of the tent. Octavia tried to walk up to me but I turned away walking away from her and taking some baggy nuts and sitting by myself. I tried to process it. I didn't want him to be my father. Not like he did anything good for me. Miller ran up beside me with a grin.

"What's wrong with you pouty?" He teasingly asked.

"I think I'd rather be grumpy. Or grouchy. But whatever," I huffed throwing some nuts in my mouth and then I threw some in his mouth laughing with him. He then wrapped an arm around me.

"I miss the days when you used to actually be fun." He commented getting up and I glared at him hopping up and jumping on his back nipping at his ear.

"Oh yeah? Enjoy it while it lasts. Everyone knows I'm way more fun than you are." I chuckled turning away and looking around. "Hey I found this waterfall thing, come on, we both need a wash." I dragged him away and laughed as I threw some nuts into his mouth as we ran. As soon as we got to the water we stripped and got into the water.

"Oh yeah, I needed this." He exclaimed with a wide grin. "You talk to your parents?" He asked me quickly.

"Marcus Kane apparently care about the children of the parents he floats. This is some step ford bullshit right here. But I don't care." I called out and after a while we dried off and walked back to camp after putting our clothes back on. Once we got back Monty ran up to me throwing his arms around me.

"Tricksy the pinecone it is talking to me!" Monty shouted in my face and I looked around everything looked distorted and I let out a loud laugh throwing nuts in my mouth and I giggled loudly as Miller held onto my shoulders.

"Oh no! I can hear it, oh man we have to show Jasper this. Do you see this Miller?" I asked quickly as I tugged them towards where Jasper was and Miller laughed.

"YES!" He grinned but was dragged off by someone else and I grabbed the pinecone feeling it.

"Be careful of its face!" Monty shrieked and I tripped around clutching Monty. We then saw Jasper looking around fearfully he then eyes the pinecone paranoid.

"Grounder spy!" He shouted jumping away from it.

"Oh my god I think it wants me to eat it." Monty drawled out looking at the pinecone in her hands and I looked at it as well.

"Eat it, it's a spy Monty." I urged him and he took it running away. I laughed and weirdly jumped and I ran into a tent and Raven and Fin looked at me confused.

"Get out." Raven called out and I giggled.

"If the tent is rocking I better not come knocking, because I make you both horny." I slapped my own ass dancing around running to where Jasper was and I touched his stick and he jumped away.

"Don't touch it, it's my anti-grounder stick." Jasper called out and I then jumped on him tackling him to the ground making him scream.

"But I want an anti-grounder stick. Mine will be prettier." I shared slumping my body limply on him rubbing my face against him with a dazed smile.

"Get off me, we have to be prepared." Jasper warned me looking around carefully. I then chuckled as I rolled to the ground looking up at the sky with a dazed smile.

"I love Earth. It's beautiful isn't it?" I asked as Jasper ran away paranoid. "Oh it's so beautiful." I whispered into the air as I got up and then Monty ran up to me.

"I can't change the tide it the moon won't co-operate." He called out in a rushed voice.

"But we could cook up a plan Monty. We could. The moon, the earth it had two high tides a day and the difference in the moons gravitational field at the earth's surface and at its centre." I called out as we ran around together and I started to climb up the drop ship and Monty followed but we failed falling down. He grabbed some things and began writing on the drop ship drawing a moon.

"The moons gravitational field on the near side is 1.068 x that on the far side a 6.8% differential across the earth." He muttered writing some things down and I nodded taking the thing and drawing some waves.

"The tidal influence on a close object is greater because the inverse square law drop in the gravitational force!" I exclaimed and he took the writing tool and began to add to my drawings of the waves.

"It's physics! We need to change the moon!" He called out. Raven then walked up to us and pulled us away.

"Okay dorks what are you doing?" She asked holding our shoulders.

"We are going to change the tides!" Monty exclaimed.

"But the stubborn moon won't co-operate." I pouted disappointed. I then ran to Jasper slumping in his lap. He wrapped his arms around me as I nuzzled my head in his neck. "Monty ate a pinecone." I muttered making him grin.

"Don't touch my stick." He muttered.

"No one wants to touch your stick." I bit back with a small laugh holding him closer. Once I woke up from my high I walked up to where everyone was.

"I say let the grounders come. We've been afraid of them for far too long why because of their knives and spears? Well I don't know about you but I'm tired of being afraid." Bellamy said then he and Clark got out guns and everyone was impressed.

"These are weapons not toys, and we have to be prepared to give them up to the guard when the drop ship comes, but until then they are gonna help keep us safe." Clark told everyone.

"And there are plenty more where these came from. Tomorrow we start training and if the grounders come we will be ready to fight." Bellamy yelled and then they placed it in a safe place. Once he finished I went and sat down next to Octavia who chuckled at me.

"How was your night?" She asked with a grin.

"Um I think I was plotting with Monty on how to rearrange the solar system." I chuckled shrugging my shoulders. She laughed with me.

"You two are such nerds." She laughed with me.

"Think you could take me to Lincoln sometime soon? I have a favour I need to ask." I inquired making Octavia look at me shocked I knew his name.

"Of course. As long as you don't turn him in." Octavia bargained and I shrugged.

"I'm not a traitor. But I am tired. I'm going to sleep in Monty and Jasper's room." I informed her and I then walked in seeing only Jasper in the room and I walked up to him and curled up next to him and he looked at me surprised at the gesture. I leaned up meeting his eyes. I then pressed my lips against his softly before falling asleep. Comfortably.
