About Aka Manto:
Aka Manto (aka. Red Cape) is a Japanese urban legend about a malicious spirit who kills people at public and school toilets, after asking people if they want red paper or blue paper.~~
Appearance:
Aka Manto's appearance has changed over time as well as the Japanese lexicon. When the legend was born in the 1930s, he wore a short sleeveless kimono jacket; today, he wears a long, red hooded cloak and his mask.~~
Behavior/Interaction:
Aka Manto waits in the fourth stall of the bathroom (since the fourth stall is often cursed) for someone to walk in (and realize no toilet paper), then ask them a question: "Red or blue paper?" Your answer determines your fate: if you answer red, he'll slice you apart so bad that the blood will stain their clothes or rip the skin off your back and leave it hanging (red cape). If you choose blue, he'll strangle or drain all the blood out of their body till you look blue (blue cape). Sometimes, your skin will permanently change into whatever color you pick. That's not all: trying to outsmart him by saying a different color will result in getting dragged to hell...literally...but sometimes, if you pick yellow, you'll probably live...just prepare for a swirly.~~
Ability(ies):
(None in particular)~~
Targets:
Anyone (mostly women)~~
Escape plan:
You may be wondering: "Well, how do I avoid death, hell, and smelling like urine?" It's very simple; refuse anything he offers you or just flat out ignore him. Also, don't say anything about it to anyone, or you might get sick.~~
Origin story:
Some people say that, years ago, Red Cloak was a young man who was so handsome that every girl immediately fell in love with him. He was so awesomely beautiful that girls would faint whenever he looked at them. His beauty was so overwhelming that he had to hide his face behind a white mask. At some point, he kidnapped a beautiful young girl and she was never seen again.~~
