About Dodomeki:
To be honest, I kind of feel bad for this yokai. Dodomeki are women with abnormally long arms that are covered with bird's eyes, mainly because they stole a lot of money.~~
Appearance:
They are normal women with long arms...and bird eyes.~~
Behavior/Interaction:
Dodomeki are said to be women who had a habit for stealing money and because of this, thousand of bird eyes sprouted from their arms. Other than that, they are quite harmless; their goal is to scare and pickpocket.~~
Abilities:
(None in particular)~~
Target(s):
Anyone~~
Escape plan:
Just watch your stuff around her...~~
Origin story:
The long arms of a dodomeki reflects the Japanese belief that a person with long arms has a tendency to steal. The bird eyes that grows on the dodomeki's arm are a reference to the Japanese dōsen, a copper coin with a hole in the middle of it that's commonly known as the chōmoku (Birds eye).~~
NOPE Rating:
2/5
