The sun glistened off of the lake. Whisper whinnied and began rearing. Her anxiety increased as a figure stepped from between the trees. The figure raised his hands and....

I shot bolt upright and banged my head on the ceiling. Cursing under my breath, I climbed off the top bunk of my bed. Benieth that was a desk, chair, lamp, and small book case.

I grab my cut-offs and a t-shirt and run to take a shower. The hot water cascaded down my back as I stepped into the shower and began washing my hair. It was 4:30 am.

Why am I up and taking a shower at four in the morning? I thought to myself. Then I remembered that today was my first day of school.

I finished my shower and pulled on my clothes. I dried my hair, lightly curling it, and added a light layer of makeup. I slipped my feet into some flip-flops and ran to eat some breakfast.

I ate my toast as I ran to the barn to feed the horses. By the time I was done with my morning routine, it was almost 7. I grabbed my backpack and ran to the car. Great. A new school.
