I can't believe it I got both jobs. I will be working at the local music venue on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights as the sound mixer for the preforming artist. Then I will be working at the local recording studio as needed. Not really what I was hoping for but my foot is in the door. I am mainly just a fill in guy at the studio

Tonight is my first night at the local club and it is an open mic night. This could be a really long night but at least I am doing what I went to school for. I will be working from 8 pm to 1 am. The first hour of my shift I am getting all the backup music ready to go for all those who are preforming. I have also meet some really cool people who work at the club also. There is a bartender named Sean who is an absolute hoot. The light guy is Danny and he reminds me of my best friend from high school. I am glad I am getting to know a few people.
I have decided to still work a couple shifts at the coffee house every week. I work there on Saturday and Sunday afternoons so it wouldn't interfere with possible time at the studio. I have spent a week at the studio just getting the layout of the place as well as meeting those I may be working with.

Photo shoots, styling sessions and the video are all done for the time being. Thank goodness, even though I really enjoyed them it is not my favorite thing to do. The video is set to come out a week after the single is released. I still can't believe I will be singing on the radio. I still pinch myself every now and then because it feels like a dream.

My single is being released today. I am so excited but I have no one but people from the studio and the record label to celebrate with. All my friends are back in England and I haven't really had time to go out and meet people outside of the industry. It is still so unbelievable that my song will be on the radio
