Starting Over

I have now been working at the club for a couple weeks now. I am really surprised at the talent that has preformed here. Even the open mic nights are very good. Tonight's performance is by a new artist on the scene. His first single was released earlier this week and his first live performance will be here tonight. From the pictures I have seen he definitely has the look to be an entertainer for sure. He has eyes that remind me of Emma. I have never seen someone with green eyes like hers until now.
Right now I am at the bar chatting with Sean and Danny about their upcoming plans. While we are talking Harry the young guy performing tonight walks up to the bar. Shockingly enough it is just him and not an entire entourage.

Tonight is my first live performance of my new single as well as a few covers. I have some other of my own music to preform but the label won't let me. I am really nervous and wish my mum and sister were here.

I decided to head to the club a little early. I just wanted to get a feel of the place and maybe have time to chat with some of the people working there. When I head inside I noticed a few fellows chatting by the bar and head there way.
"Hello, I am Harry and I will be performing this evening". I introduced myself to the group and a guy with blonde hair extended his hand out for me to shake "Well, nice to meet you, I am Danny and I operate the lights, this is Sean he is the bartender and this is Niall he is the sound guy". I shook hands with all of them.
"So where are you from? Because with that accent it isn't local" Sean asked
"I am actually from England" I answered
"That is cool, I am a transplant here also. I am from a small town in Ireland" Niall stated
"Really, nice to know someone else who is new to the area also. Have you had much time to explore yet?" I asked
"No not really, I have only been out here a couple months. I had to find an apartment and then job hunt. Just haven't really found the time to explore yet. Have you?" Niall asked while he was getting himself a water to drink.
"Not a lot. I did some of the sightseeing stuff with my mum and sister when they visited a while back but that is it. The label has kept me very busy. If you are up for it we should explore sometime, you know since we are both new to town" I asked Niall
"That sounds like a good plan the two new guys exploring together. It would be much better then doing it alone" Niall replied "I can even start by showing you to your dressing room if you would like because we all need to get ready for your performance after all"
"Yeah, that would be good. I need to get changed because I am sure the labels stylist would have my balls if I performed in ripped skinnies and a t-shirt" I replied as the guys all laughed. Niall was motioning me to follow him towards the back hallway " Come on this way Harry. All the dressing rooms are back this way. Then we should do your sound check also. We want to make sure you sound awesome since this is your first live performance locally"
"True enough, I don't want to blow it already I mean my first album isn't even finished yet". I said.
Niall showed me where everything was and then we headed to the stage area to do the sound check as soon as the band showed up. Everything was ready to go.
