"I told Darren about Aaron."

I looked up from my laptop, towards Allie who sat cross-legged in front of me, twiddling her thumbs. It was the next day and Allie was here to hang out, and sleepover, since Terrence was away on a business trip.

I already missed him so much. I made sure he didn't leave without having his mouth thoroughly ravished by me.

"Well, that's great. What did he say?" I closed my laptop and rubbed my eyes, scooting closer to her.

"He said that he's ready to wait if I'm not sure about being in a relationship. He seemed to have gotten the hint with the way Aaron and the others were behaving, but didn't mind because I was giving him my full attention." Her gaze changed from inquisitive to dreamy in a flicker of moment. "He's really sweet, Alyssa. I think I want to be with him. Like, really, really want to be with him."

"But...?" I asked as I sensed the dreaded word tucked at the end.

"I can't seem to get Aaron off my mind. We have a lot of unfinished business to sort out, and I don't want him to affect my love life anymore. It is the first time I want to be serious about someone, Liz, why did he have to come back in my life now out of all times?" She huffed.

"Call it fate? I don't know." I shrugged, "Did you have a proper, one to one conversation with him? I think only talking to him and clearing the mess will help you finally move on, you know, letting it go and stop holding grudges." I advised.

I didn't want her to meet him up alone just to clear out the mess the two were caught in. I myself, along with Lucy, Aria, Terrence, Victor, Jonah and probably the twins too were shipping the both of them. During our little party, I was the recipient of glares too, along with Darren because I was sure as hell encouraging the relationship between them.

I just wanted Aaron and Allie to have a fresh start, forgetting all the past that was behind them, and also Aaron needed a chance to tell her that he wanted her, and this time, seriously.

"It's difficult to have the guts to face him, Liz, when I always want to smack that pretty face of his. Tell me, Lisa, how much time does it take for me to shower?" She asked.

"Umm, half an hour?" I answered, confused as to how that question suddenly became a part of the conversation.

"I was over the moon that day, Lisa. I had been intimate with someone for the very first time in my life, and that too with someone I was in love with. Now I rephrase the question: How much time do you think it took me to shower that day?"

"An hour and a half, at least." I answered confidently. The happier she was, the longer she took to shower.

"See! In the span of an hour and a half, that little shit managed to snag a slut for him and fucked her right in the same bed where he took my virginity, and then he had the nerve to smirk at me when I caught them fucking." She half yelled, her voice raising many octaves making her frustration evident. Whom was she kidding? She still wasn't over him.

Maybe her relationship with Darren wasn't a good idea.

It was so, so, so fucked up.

She clambered over to me, and snuggled her head into my lap. "I don't know what to do, Alyssa. I don't." She mumbled.

I caressed her hair, "Follow your heart, love. That's all you can do now."

"You know, even though you're my best friend, you're like a mother I never had. And these maternal and loving vibes that you give off have only intensified since you met the babies. You're happy here, aren't you, with Terrence and the twins?" She asked, a soft smile lighting up her face as she drew patterns on the pillow.
