Chapter XIII - Monster

So. Carmelita moved in. How are we gonna get used to this? When she first walked in, I felt tense. But it's been 3 weeks and we've gotten used to it. She only changed personality back in high school due to her asshole ex. And Rain has been a thorn in our asses since Margo's in the infirmary.
"Guys. Another note." Rielle said, walking in the door.
We all opened the note and he just got on ALL of our last nerves.

         You thought I was kidding with the last note? I wasn't. I'm just getting warmed up. GIVE ME RIELLE ROSANNE RUBY! I'm watching.

P.S. I'd check the infirmary if I were you.
"The infirmary?" Rielle asked.
I received an unexpected call from Djinn.
"Dude, what's going on?"
"It's Ally. She's been snatched."
"And Margo?"
"She's been transferred to intensive care. The prison's been hijacked. What's going on by you?"
"Rain."
"That son of a bitch."
"This is all my fault. Now Ally's been kidnapped and Margo may die on us. I'm so sorry, guys." Rielle started to cry.
"Hey. We'll get her back. I promise." I held her close.
"Be safe."
"Always."
Resin, Argent, Djinn, Rayne, Wolf and I started looking for Ally.
"Any luck on the scent?"
"Her trail's getting cold." Rayne said.
"Where could she be?" I felt Djinn's pain.
"Don't worry. We'll find her."
Meanwhile at an undisclosed location...
Ally's POV
I'm so scared right now. I'm tied to some table, looks like I'm hooked up to some tubes. Oh no. Is that cyanide? Nitrogen? Lead?
I'm gonna die.
"I see you're awake." He said.
"W-Who are you?"
"A heartless monster, not a man."
"You must be Rain."
"The Legend precedes me."
"Why are you doing this?"
"To take back what is mine. Rielle."
"I understand your pain. But she's in a better place right now."
"There's nothing better about him. He's a pretentious fuck."
"Grannum?"
"Yes."
"Come into the light." He walked into the light and I saw him. His eyes were green, his hair, curly. He was shirtless. He has all the tattoos of The Joker from Suicide Squad, he even carved Red's name on his chest and on his wrist.
"Oh my Hades."
"He's going to pay for what he's done."
"Are you gonna kill me?"
"Oh I ain't gonna kill ya. I'm just gonna hurt you. Really. Really. Bad."
"Oh, you think so? I can take it." I felt a cloth over my face and then something wet. Water. Accidental drowning.
Meanwhile...
Grannum's POV
Her scent's getting stronger. It lead to an old abandoned asylum. I smell her. She's here."
"Well let's storm it."
We ran inside and found Ally. She was unconscious. "She's still breathing. He tried to drown her."
"That son of a bitch."
"He's gone. Let's get Ally out of here."
I received a call from Red.
"Red. She's OK."
"Oh, is she?" He's at the dorm.
"If you ever touch a single hair on her head-"
"You'll what, skin me alive? You and I both know who she belongs to."
"Where. Is. She?" I felt the need to phase.
"Oh she's fine. She wants to talk to you."
"Rielle?"
"Grannum? I'm scared."
"Don't worry. I'll be there. Be strong."
"Grannum, I'm sorry I got you all into this." I heard the crackle.
"What do you want, Rain?"
"Rielle. And your head mounted on my wall."
"Stay away from her!" I growled deeply.
"We both know that will never happen." The line went dead.
"Rain's got her."
"Let's go get her." We ran back to the dorm when we saw that they were still here.
"Isn't this nice? The family's all here." He had a twisted smile on his lips.
"Let. Her. Go."
"How about never? She's mine."
"Grannum, help me." She whimpered.
"It'll be OK. I promise."
"Oh, you promise. And you think she'll believe you?"
"She always will." He had a iron grip on her.
"Well it turns out she doesn't."
"Rain, stop. Please."
"No."
I phased into my wolf form. And saw something I didn't see before. The guys were all wolves?
"The only way you're leaving with her is through us." I said telepathically.
Regime and Wulfric phased. I charged at Rain to get Red out of his grasp. "Red, get behind me." I moved swiftly as his pack retreated. "He's gone." I phased back and held her tightly. "Never again will I leave you alone."
"Thank you." She said between sobs.
"You ladies OK?"
"We're fine, Grannum. But I don't know about Hayley." Malina said.
"Where is she?" Argent asked. I've never seen him so frantic.
"I-I'm right here." Hayley said, weakly.
"Hayley, you alright? Princess, talk to me."
"I-I'm OK. I don't know about him."
"Him?!" We all asked.
"She's pregnant and it's yours, Argent!" Ally said, out of nowhere.
Argent's POV
I. Was. Stunned. It's mine?
I was taken aback. I'm gonna be a dad. I gotta be there for her.
"I can't promise that things won't be broken, but I swear that I will never leave."
"Thanks babe." I kissed her cheek.
Grannum's POV
I'm so proud of them. My ex is gonna be a mommy. "Argent. Can I talk to you for a sec?"
We walked over to the balcony.
"So you've heard the rumor that Hayley starts back to like me?"
"She told me. Grannum, I know you do too but Red needs you more than ever. And she wants you to be the godfather."
"I'll never leave Red. Never. I love her so much to lose her. She's my oxygen. And I'm proud of you, dude."
"Thanks, man."
Thanksgiving...
Finally, food and the bringing of people. Except we're not cooking. We just bought takeout and monsters and we just sat on the floor and ate. Margo came out the infirmary and she's doing fine. Hayley came in with a fragile smile on her face with Argent clutching her stomach.
"We lost the baby."
"Hayley, I'm so sorry." Rielle hugged her.
"Hey, it'll be OK." Resin said.
"Hayley, I'm so sorry." I hugged my ex because she needed it.
"It's OK. I really wanted to see our little pup."

Killing You by Asking Alexandria played and Hayley and Argent really need the support. I sat next to Hayley on the couch and she just rested her head on my shoulder, "I miss my little wolf."
"Don't worry. There's always next round. Just gotta get back up and continue."
"Thanks, Grannum." I kissed her cheek, knowing everything will be OK.
"Now Argent needs a certain snowflake by his side."
"Oh, Grannum, stop."
"I'm serious, look at him by the balcony. All alone."
"Fine, I'm going." Lifelines by I Prevail was playing in the background, gotta find Red.
I saw Red talking to Wolf and Mira, I snuck up on her and kissed her cheeks. "Surprise."
"Hey, how's Hayley?"
"She's OK." I pulled her in closer,  our lips almost touching. "I miss you. You haven't been yourself since-"
"I know. I'm sorry."
I hummed Stay by Mayday Parade while she rested her head in my chest. "I love you."
"I love you, too."
"Aww. They are so cute together." Mira cooed.
"Don't jinx it."
This has been a great Thanksgiving.
