Chapter 38

Chances POV

I understand that Tessa and I are not together, but what guy asks out his friends girlfriend in less than a week after they broke up! I noticed Tessa was sitting on her bed with her hands covering her face.

Chance-"You can be with him if you want, Tessa."

Tessa-"look Chance, that's the problem. I don't want to be with Emilio. I think I'm going to be kicked out."

Chance-"Jake would never kick you out, your practically his little sister. And besides you did nothing bad."

Tessa-"I ruin everything I touch Chance. I ruined friendships Chance. The whole house is on edge any time I walk into a room."

Chance-"Tessa! That's not true! I messed this relationship up! I messed everything up and you took the blame."

Tessa looked up at me and I sat down next to her. I wished I had just listened to her. If I had not been drinking none of this would have happened.

Chance-"Tessa, I love you and I always will, I don't care what you say but nothing will change that. All of this was my fault, I don't deserve you."

Tessa looked away and began to blush. She looked back at me and I pulled my lips towards hers. I pecked Tessa on the lips, causing her to stand up.

Tessa-"Chance... I don't know- who am I kidding!"

Tessa quickly  leaped on top of me and before I knew it our lips were in perfect sync. I heard the door knob jiggle and lunged for the closet, shouting the door behind me.

Tessa's POV

I opens the door and Jake walked in. He gave me a look.

Jake-"What did you do to Emilio?!"

Tessa-"I swear I did nothing."

Jake-"well it did not seem like nothing, really what did you do!"

I had to think of something quick, An excuse or something.

Tessa-"What did you do to my best friend last night?"

Jake gave me a look and walked out laughing.

Jake-"I'm not answering that😂

Tessa-"same here"

I shut the door and Chance walked out of the closet.

Chance-"so I'm going to go..."

Tessa-"okay, but please don't tell anyone, not even toner."

He walked out of my room and ran straight to his bathroom. And I heard him turn on the shower. I flopped on to the bed and thought about what I just did. My heart told me yes, but my head told me no...
