Chances POV

I knew Tessa was lying to me. She knew who did it... I just needed to figure out who. I sat on the couch and watched Jakes vlog. It was so inspiring and I knew that he was helping so many people, but I also wished he was here.

Tessa's POV

I stared at the message, the threat. That would Change my whole life. I would lose Chance, or I would lose my reputation. I had chose to stay  anonymous in Charles's case for a reason, I wanted a clean reputation. I know that I have to break things off with Chance, but we had been through so much, was it worth it?

Tessa-"Chance!"

Chance-"What are you okay!?"

Tessa-"Yes, but we need to talk. About us..."

Chance-"Tessa please I love you!"

Tessa-"I love you too! But we can't be together. We can't..."

Chance-"Why not?"

Tessa-"We just can't! It...-"

I broke down sobbing and Chance hugged me. I had just broken up with the love of my life and he was still comforting me. Sometimes he really confused me. I still loved him so much and it was slowly killing me inside. Tears flowed and I hated Chance crying too. I wiped his tears away and whispered I'm so sorry. He looked at me deep in the eyes. All I saw were his red, puffy eyes. They showed how much I hurt him, I felt so bad.

Tessa-"Chance, I'm so sorry but it's for the best right now."

Chance-"Be Honest with me please. Is this really what you want?"

I wanted to tell the truth. I wanted him to be mine, but I knew that person was watching me and Chance and I am not letting him get hurt. I love him. I love him too much. I bit my lip, holding back the wave of tears soon to come. I got lost in his eyes, and wished I could never be found. But I had to dump him...

Tessa-"Yes, it's what I want."

When I said those five words it felt as if I had been stabbed five times, in the heart. Chance left my room and the world fell silent. You could her a pin drop. Then my phone started to go off.
