After anticipating their arrival with Cameron and the Jacks, Hayes and Nash finally decided to show up. Nash approached me first, "hey, you never answered my texts."

"Yeah, I know." He'd been texting me non-stop all last night and this morning.

"Well, why?" He looked confused, and a little upset.

I shrugged. I still hadn't made eye-contact with him. "I don't know. Didn't feel like talking."

"Is it because of Samantha?"

I nodded, "I gotta go talk to Cam." And with that, I left. I walked away to find Cam and Hayes laughing. I suddenly realized I had been neighbors with Hayes for two months and I don't think I've ever talked to him.

I guess he realized the same thing, because as soon as Cam's attention went towards me, so did Hayes's. "Hi, Kyra," Hayes laughed, "I've never properly met you, but I'm your neighbor, and my name's Hayes."

I laughed in response, "I know, I'm sorry we've never properly met."

"Me too," Hayes smiled again, "so are you and my brother, like, um.."

I chuckled, "Um, you know, I don't really know."

He nodded in response as if he understood, even though he didn't. In fact, I didn't either.

"Kyra!" My head snapped to Gilinsky, who was alone.

"Excuse me," I turned away from Hayes and made my way to Jack.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked with a smile.

"Um, what happened with you and Nash? I mean, he said you guys were sort of together, but now he seems upset. He pulled Jack away to talk to him." Gilinsky seemed concerned, and almost worried. He was obviously the type of person who would put other people before himself.

I debated telling him why I was upset, but I figured it wasn't a huge deal. I explained that Nash had told me he liked me, and I liked him too, then that we were on the boardwalk, and Samantha came over and they hung out, and how Aaron and Matthew pulled me away and told me about the two. He nodded understandligly as I recited.

"Well," he paused and let out a deep breath as he stared at my feet. His eyes looked up to me, but his head stayed low, "You want to know what I think?"

I nodded.

"I think Nash still likes Samantha. I'm sorry."

I nodded again and looked at the ground. I was hurt a little bit, just not as much as I expected. But then again, this happened a lot. I usually got hit with feelings late.

Jack ducked to catch my gaze, "Hey, you're alright, come on, let's ditch the guys and get some McDonald's or something," he smiled.

A smile quickly crept across my face and I nodded, "Thanks Jack."

He nodded and threw his arm around my shoulders as we marched out of the lobby. He really was a good kid. Having someone who barely knows me, but cares enough to do this for me, it just feels great.

We got to McDonald's after a five minute walk, ordered a burger and fries, sat down, and talked. We just talked about nothing. Anything. He did his best to keep me happy, he was good at it, too. He was a good distraction. He could do that for hours.

My phone vibrated, "Where are you and Jack?!" Matthew shouted from the other line.

"McDonald's, why?"

"You two need to be in the back room at the hotel NOW, the event's starting!"

I felt my eyes widen as I pulled the phone from my ear and checked the time, "I'll be there in a minute!"

"I'll stall Bart," Matt explained. I clicked end and quickly pulled Jack up as we sprinted out the door and down the road back to the hotel.

We flew around the back so the fans didn't see us and stormed through the doors. I saw Bart talking to Matt outside the room we were supposed to be in, and we slowed ourselves as if we were leisurely walking the whole time, "Oh, where were you two?" Bart asked as we approached him.

"Oh, just the bathroom," we both said at the same time. Classic excuse. He nodded in response as we made our way into the room with Matt. Jack went off immediately to Johnson as I continued with Matt, and before I knew it, Mahogony was announcing our names to the VIP's.

I was announced second, after Hayes. I walked up onto the stage as rehearsed, and waved to all of the screaming fans. It really was the best feeling in the world having so many people get so excited for you. The boys were announced and we were soon just walking around meeting everyone. I saw Eva a few times, but I was glued to Matt's hip for most of the time, and when I wasn't, I was on Cameron's, and she was walking around with Carter. I guess they had a thing now?

The priority and general admission were crazy, though. After Mahogony introduced us again, we went down into our meet and greet spots. Hayes and I got to walk anywhere we wanted since we didn't really have a set spot. I obviously walked over with Matthew and Cameron and began meeting everyone. The girls were mostly really nice. I honestly thought that they would only show interest in the boys, but they showed a lot of interest in me, too. A lot of them told me they loved me, some called me pretty, but most asked what it was like to be with the boys all the time. Typical Teenage Fangirls. It's funny though, because two or three months ago, I was in the exact same position as they were. I obviously said it was amazing, but didn't rub it in too much.

"Kyra!" Hayes walked up to me, "hey, um, Nash wants you to come over there with us, okay?" I looked up to Nash as he stared at me with piercing blue eyes.
