Definitely not a break up chapter!

*Shelby's POV*

"I do too." Why did I say that? I love Parker not Will. What is my mind doing? "Will...um....what I meant was I love you as a- MORE THAN ANYTHING!!" I did not want to say that. I don't think this is my mind controlling me anymore. This is my heart.

I can just picture my brain and my heart arguing right now.

"You love him Shelby. Parker is just a good friend. He's not right for you."

"Shelby, come on! Parker is the sweetest guy ever! And, might I mention, YOU'RE FRICKIN ENGAGED TO THE GUY!"

"Brain, the heart wants what it wants"

"But the heart surely won't GET what it wants!"

"Oh yes it will. Because unlike you, I have the MOST control!"

"Will, I have loved you ever since I watched the first video you ever made. Your cute little accent makes me swoon!"

"Wow, I didn't know you felt that way too Shelbs."

"Oh...I gotta go now Will. Love You!"

"Love you too!"

I hung up after that. Omg. What the actual frick just happened? I just confessed my love to Will. While I'm engaged to Parker.

There was a special way Will made me feel, though. The way he talks to me just gives me the feels. I know what I'm going to do. I'm going to break up with Parker before things get too serious.

I opened the door to the apartment. "There's my beautiful fiancée!" Parker said to me, "I have a present for you."

"A present?"

Parker walked over to me with a small black box. I opened lid. "Oh, Parker!" He had gotten me a bracelet with the words Together Forever engraved on it.

"Oh um....Parker....there's something I need to tell you."

"What is it? I'd listen to you talk forever Shelby."

"Well......I'm brea- They didn't have a cafe mocha at Starbucks so I got you an iced coffee." There goes my brain.

"Ha! Take that heart!"

"Well, I still have more power than you."

"Also, I'm breaking up with you. The wedding is off. I don't really love you, and to be honest, you deserve someone better than me."

"Shelby, no one is better than you. You are everything I'm looking for."

"I don't love you, Parker. Your just a friend."

"Just a friend, after all the time we've spent together? All we've been through? You say we're just friends? Maybe this will change your mind"

He leaned in and kissed me. It didn't feel good anymore. It didn't feel right. It felt like nothing to me. I released from the kiss.

"Parker, just accept that I don't love you anymore."

"I know you still do Shelby. I just know it." He kissed me again, this time more passionately though.

"Parker, I don't want to spend the rest of my life with you! I want to spend it wi-with Will.

"Will? As in, Kiingtong Will? Did he put this your idea in your head that you don't love me?"

"It's not in my head, it's my heart. And the heart wants what it wants."

"Ha.Ha.Ha. take that, brain"

"But how do you know Will loves you too?"

"He called me when I was out, actually and we both confessed our live to eachother. To be honest, I've kinda been cheating on you and really technically wanting Will."

"Get. Out."

"Ok. But once I'm out that door, I'm not coming back."

I went into the bedroom and took my stuff and put it in a suitcase. I stormed out of the apartment. Then, I came back in. "And by the way, Will is going to be a way better boyfriend than you" Parker's eyes widened.

"In fact, he's going to be the best boyfriend. And the next time you see me, it will be on all the social media about how me and Will are the best couple. And you will be here wishing you treat me better. And you can keep your stupid bracelet. And your ring. I don't want that trash." I then threw the jewelry at him and left.

I drove over to Ethans house. I really needed someone I could talk to in person. I knocked on his door.

*Knock Knock Knock

Ethan opened the door. "Shelby? Why are you crying? Come inside!"

I didn't even realize that I was crying. I guess I was too busy trying to forget about Parker.

"Ethan, Parker and me broke up."

"You did? What happened?"

"I don't love him anymore. I love someone else. That Parker also knows."

"Is it me?!" I could tell Ethan was joking by the way he said it.

"Sure" I said sarcastically. "You are totally the person that called me earlier today when we confessed dour love to eachother." I laughed a little bit.

"There's that Shelby smile! So, I don't wanna be too nosy, but......WHO IS IT?"

"Its..um...it's Will...."

"Oh, cool! When did you realize that Will is the one you love and not Parker?"

"Today, actually!"

"Oh, uh......just today?"
