Elio opened the front door and scanned the room. Nobody was in it.
Then the girl came walking downstairs,"Oh hi. I was going to get the door... but then you barged in."
"Uh, I'm sorry."
Selene shook her head,"Nah. It's alright. You're a friend after all."
Elio raised an eyebrow,
So I'm just a friend to her...?
"Elio, something wrong?"
"Uh, nothing."
"Hey, tell me."
Elio's phone made a ringtone.
"Lemme get that."
"Okay! I'll go get some cake for us."
She ran at full speed to the kitchen while Elio looked at his phone.
