I gave shorty her phone back.

"Call If he ever call you back or anything.. Ight?"

I looked at ha.
She jus got done crying. I was glad too. I don't like to see females cry.

It's the worse thing I ever seen. I mean ik it's a reflex to cry but do they gotta hyperventilate?

Sounding like the Tin man off the Wiz when he was crying.

"Thanks Lucas. You was a great help." She got up and hugged me.

Her sent was so sweet smelt like popcorn and honey.

Her bushy hair got in my mouth and I spat it out quietly trying not to ruin her moment.

I looked down at her.

"You'll be fine shorty"

" why you callin me shorty?"

"Cause you short wat ya mean why"
She laughed then smiled at me.

I smiled back.

"What the fuck y'all doin in here!" I
heard Reggie yell. We both looked at him.

" where my daughter clothes at Lucas. Y'all better not be fuc-"

" Daddy! My clothes are on my body. You just can't see Em cause Lucas in da way"

I scooter over. He looked at me and I just walked out the room.

" girl I outta beat yo damn ass wearing them shorts. Wea my belt" I heard him say and shorty was jus laughing her ass off

these fools a mess. I sat on the couch and texted Shorty.

I kinda took ha numba when she was cryin..

Me: mhm you won a brand new card!

Shorty😍: A NEW CAR?!?!

Shorty😍: ihy

Reggie came down and look at me then shook his head

" don't get yaself hurt now" he said

" I won't" I looked up at him from my phone.

Shorty was tellin me about how she used to live wit ha mom.

It burned inside my heart to know someone would treat they kid like that.

" Lucas!" Reggie yelled I came back to reality.

" Huh? Sorry I was thinkin"

" well stop thinkin and start working nigga" I laughed

" yes sir, pop belly havin ass sir" I said then ran out the house laughing at Reggie at how fast he jumped up and tried to get me.

" I got chu Lucas!" He laughed yellin after me.

Man Reggie cool asf people jus be judging cause of how he look.
