THE NOTION OF JUNIPER SWAN was not some complicated thing. It was as follows: golden girl whisked away from the Rez by six. An expert at bunny knot on her shoelaces by nine. A little more years later she mastered applying mascara in a moving car, accepting the unacceptable, and how to avoid which pieces of wood on her daddy's porch made the loudest sound. Some accomplishments mean more to June Swan than the others — only she knows why.

Accepting the unacceptable takes the cake.

The lovely, little spirited Swan is made by nature, not nurture. So when this unacceptable thing happened to her, aged ten, (see: self-proclaimed prophet of a grandmother tells you, with the help of some lofty sixth sense, that you're gonna die without seeing eighteen...) June and all her nature made pragmatics let her accept it. Her grandmother, with all her faults known, had never been wrong.

So June welcomed the end because she knew it.

The yearning came. The dreams of her life's finale being a statuesque became thrilling. Until it isn't — because her older sister Bella has returned. It marks the catalyst of content that makes June's dad feel that his family could be whole again. And to top it off, Jacob Black and all his infinite sunshine keeps shining down on June and he calls her ocean eyes and he smiles that smile of his only for her and June feels like her heart just might fucking burst from the joy of it all.

The notion of Juniper Swan is simple.

Knowing the end and all it brings?

Never a good thing.

for those of you who do know and don't know, lmao it's so funny, I so called blew up on wattpad for a jacob black fanfiction I had on here called moonshine with my oc danielle swan who was bellas twin, yes, a completely overused plot that wasn't as overused as it was back then. for plot purposes, I didn't know where I was going with that story, it was becoming more of burden to write it than actually enjoying it so I took it down. since then ive tried to bring it back here and there but it never stuck with me — but it's back, with a new and improved girl named juniper swan "june" and she's basically dani swan 2.0 and still has her own plot to do.
