It's been about a month since that all happened. Dad still doesn't let me see Ethan but I sneak out here and there to see him... Shhh.... ANYWAYS! Leslie is flying out here to see me and I'm so exited! It's been about 2 years since we seen each other... I have so many things planned!! Just kidding no I don't😂 But we should be picking her up at 2 p.m and it's 1 p.m so I should get ready. I take my shower and go to my closet once again. I put on a burgundy crop top, Jean shorts, and burgundy vans, with a long white cardigan. I put my hair in a bun and put on the bracelets and necklace Ethan gave me. I take a quick selfie and post it on my Instagram. The likes and comments start rolling in. I scream and run to her. "IS THAT JANESSA?" She yells running to me. We both hug and fall on the floor. "I missed you so much!" I say. "I missed you too!" She says as we get up. We walk to my dad. "Hey Leslie! Nice to see you again" dad says hugging her. "Hey Logan! Nice to see you too" we all get in the car. "Any where you girls wanted to get dropped off at?" Dad asks. I look at Leslie and she shrugs. "Hmm.... Let me think" I say. I get a message. I ask. "Yea I will drop you off now." Dad says. We get to the park and get out. Dad drives off. "So why are we at the park?" Leslie asked confused. "My boyfri.... I mean friends wanted us to come" I say. In the distance I see the twins coming our way. "UH JANESSA LOOK!" Leslie says tugging me and pointing. "I know! Those are my friends! Come on" I say bringing her. "Hey guys!" I say giving them both hugs. "This is Leslie! My best friend since day 1 now be nice to her or your getting hurt" I say smiling. "Great....Boys hide!" I whisper. They go in the playground being stupid. I run up to them. "Hey guys! What are you doing here?" I say. "Just waking Kong!did you wanna go home?" He asks. "Not really.."I say. Dad gives me a look. " I saw you made friends.. They looked very familiar.. Why did they go in the playground?" Dad asks looking in the distance. "What friends?" I say. "Ok Janessa doesn't act stupid with me. I saw Ethan and Grayson and I told you stay away! How long have you been doing this for?" He says upset. I look down. "Every Tuesday and Friday's." I say. We get home and me and Leslie go to my room as I lock the door. I change into Ethan's red hoodie and some black pj shorts. Leslie changed into a fox shirt and black tights. She sits at my computer chair. "Wanna talk?" She says. I told her everything and how he found out. "JANESSA!" I hear my dad scream. "Be right back Leslie" I say. I go into the kitchen."yes?" I say. "Let me see your phone" he says serious. "Why? No"I say crossing my arms. "Because I got it for you so now I want it" he says raising his voice. "NO!" I say raising my voice too. "JANESSA JENNIE PAUL! GIVE MY YOUR PHONE RIGHT NOW! I AM YOUR FATHER AND YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME!" He yells. I get my phone and slam it on the counter. "I wish I stayed at uncle jakes" I say and go back to my room. "Everything alright!?" Leslie asks. "He took my phone and he's gonna go through everything.. Me and Ethan are fucked.. I'm so stupid! I should just die already!" I say. "Janessa don't say that.. Everybody loves you." Leslie says. I go into the bathroom and get out a tiny blade I keep for safety. I never thought it would come down to this. I make 5 slits at my wrist. I clean it up and put the blade away. Kong comes in my room.  The next day comes and me and dad haven't been talking much. A week goes by and Leslie is still here. "dad can me and Leslie go to the team 10 house?" I ask. "Sure but I'm not taking you" he says watching tv. I tell Leslie to change and I cant text because I don't have my phone! I change into some jeans with a burgundy hoodie and burgundy converse. I've been self harming a bit more so I'm sticking to hoodies. "Can I use your phone?" I ask Leslie. "Yea" she says and hands it to me. I text Tessa.(text convo)Me: hey it's me Janessa, my phone got taken away so can you pick us up?/Tessa:of course my love, be there in 10 min. (Text ended) we walk out. "Janessa it's 100 degrees out why are you wearing a hoodie?" Dad asks. "My life. My style" I say as we walk out. Tessa gets there and we get in. "Everything alright?" Tessa asks holding my hand. "We will talk about it later." I say. We get to the house and I introduce everybody to Leslie. We go to Tessa's room and I say everything. "Excuse me for a second"I say as I go to the bathroom. I take my handy blade and make 5 slits. I clean up and go back out. "Should we go down stairs?" Tessa asks. "Yea!" Leslie says. "I don't know.." I say, "aw come on" Tessa says grabbing my wrist. "OWW!"I yell and push her hand off. "You alright?" Tessa asks worried. I nod holding my wrist at the verge of tears. Leslie looks at me then lifts up my sleeve showing my scars. "WHAT THE HELL?!"Tessa screams. "Everything is going wrong  and it's horrible.. I should have never went to that stupid party" I say putting my head down. Jake, kade, Anthony, Chance, and Justin rush into the room."what's wrong?!" Jake says.  I roll down my sleeve quickly. "Janessa what was that.." Anthony says. "What was what?" I say. "Don't play stupid" chance adds. Kade takes my arm and rolls up my sleeve. I looked at my 20 scars." Justin looks at my pocket and I guess the blood was seeping through from the blade because he took it. "We gotta tell Logan" Jake says. "Please don't!" I beg."Janessa this is serious.. We have to" Kade  says. Those scars are bad.. And this one looks new.." Anthony says pointing to one. Leslie looks at me and I look at her. I sniffle my nose. "Come on girls you're going home" Jake says. "Bye Tessa" I say hugging her. "Bye, be good" she says. We get home and Jake decided to go up stairs with us. Me and Leslie go in my room while they talk. Jake leave and dad calls me to the living room. "Sit please Janessa" he says patting the seat and leaning back. "Why? why would you do this to yourself? You such a pretty girl to do this. If you wanted to talk you should have told me. Mom wouldn't like this if she knew.." He says with his eyes watering. "I'm sorry! It's just everything has been so hard. I'm just a mess up. Lucky you guys caught me before I did something I wasn't gonna regret. And mom doesn't care.. She never did. That's why she gave me to you" I say. "Janessa never do something your gonna regret, we maybe have our ups and downs but every family does. I love you so much.. And your growing up so I decided wait another 2 months without seeing the twins and then after those 2 months you can see them all you want. But no sneaking out for those 2 months! Oh and here" he says as he giving me my phone back. "I love you too dad" I say hugging him. I get up and go to my room. "I got my phone back" I say. "Yay!" Leslie says hugging me.  2 weeks later, Leslie leaves today and I'm so upset because we barely did anything because of everything that happened. We go to the airport and before she goes into her gate she hugs me. I start crying because I know it's gonna be awhile till I see her again. "I love you fungus" I say still crying. "I love you too poop" she says crying. She goes in her gate and we go home. I change into my 4ou shirt with grey shorts and lay down. Kong jumps on my bed and I fall asleep.
