finn wolfhard;

"finn, i uh- gosh, i don't know how to say this. i um- i have anxiety."
"....really? i'm so sorry..."
he engulfs you in a hug
you end up crying into his shirt
"it's okay, babe. it's okay. i- i want you to feel safe, always."
you end up cuddling together on his couch

wyatt oleff;

he finds you crying and immediately rushes over to you
"babe- babe, what's wrong?"
"wy... there's something i... well, i haven't let you in on and i just- i don't know."
"what is it? you can tell me anything, i promise."
"i- i have anxiety. i've um- had it for a while and it- it's awful."
tears well up in his eyes and he wraps his arms around you, burying his head in the crook of your neck
"i know it's awful, i know, but please... stay strong for me."

jaeden lieberher;

he finds you mid-panic attack and freaks out; he doesn't know what to do
"y-y/n? baby, please. are you ok?"
he begins to lightly push on your shoulder to get you to look at him
the fact that he was seeing your vulnerability just made it worse
"jae... j-just go... p-please."
he actually begins to cry
"no. i'm not leaving. never..."
he cautiously got down on his knees and pulled your body closer to his; not caring that you were in a fetal position, so it may be a bit awkward
you both stayed like that for a long time; he didn't let go until he heard your breathing slow down and your whimpers stop

jack grazer;

since you had had anxiety for a long time, you had learned to become a silent crier which came in handy when hiding it from your boyfriend, jack
one day, he comes to your house mid-anxiety attack hangover and sees you laying on your bed, clutching the fabric of a blanket as you stared at nothing in particular, letting you tears slowly dry up
he furrows his eyebrows in confusion at you and gets on your bed, awkwardly wrapping his arms around your torso from behind
you suddenly turn over and gaze at him longingly and he gets a good look of your bloodshot, emotionless eyes
"w-what happened?"
"i- erm- nothing. d-don't worry about it."
"okay..."
he lovingly plants a kiss to your forehead and smiles at you sheepishly

sophia lillis;

you were having a good time hanging out with sophia and your guys' friends at a restaurant
one of them called you out on something and everyone began to agree
your once happy mood quickly snapped and your face becomes somber
sophia noticed and gave you a look, but was otherwise unaware of how the comments had affected you; she had no clue that they had hit one of your triggers
you excuse yourself and go to the restroom, locking yourself in one of the stalls and forcing yourself to calm down as your breathing became more ragged and tears threatened to fall
"y/n?"
your eyes widened as you mentally scolded yourself for almost breaking down
"are you ok in there, y/n/n? you looked upset when you left the table."
you quickly swipe at your eyes with the back of your sleeve and open the stall door, making your way out and not giving sophia a second glance in the process
you head over to the sinks, but she follows you
"y/n... just talk. it's alright."
you hang your head in disappointment and turn to face her
one glance at your trembling hands and she rushes to you, holding onto you tight
she mutters "it's ok... it's ok... i got you" over and over

chosen jacobs;

he never would have thought when he first saw you break down into a panic attack because you always hid it so well
he had accidentally walked in on you in the middle of having one and stared in heartbroken sadness as sobs racked your body
you hadn't realized he was there, but you felt his presence behind you and it was only confirmed when you felt his arms slowly snake around you from behind
you didn't even have the energy to turn around, you just sat there and let your thoughts overwhelm you
your hand slowly made its way to his arm as you grabbed a hold of it and only began to sob harder

jeremy taylor;

when he first found out you had social anxiety, you guys were in public
you were with some of the other losers walking the streets, so people realized quicker and began to swarm you
neither of you had released the secret that you two were dating yet, so the questions came left and right
you began to stutter out answers and do your nervous tick [a/n. idk what nervous tick you have or if you even have one]
jeremy quickly took notice of your flustered actions and interlaced your fingers in his
he excuses the both of you to the fans and he leads you to a nearby coffee shop
he doesn't even ask what's going on with you, he simply sweeps you into a hug and starts to rub your back comfortingly
when he knows for a fact that you've calmed down, you both walk back out and meet back up with the losers

nicholas hamilton;

he actually never figures out. you hide it and hide it, not wanting him to see that vulnerability, and he never does.

To any of my readers that have any kind of anxiety:
It's not fun, I know. Sometimes you just need to break down, and that's alright. I, myself, am a very anxious person and I never found peace in it by shoving it out quickly. You have to encourage yourself to embrace your brokenness, even if it's hard. It still hurts sometimes. Someone might hit one of my triggers unknowingly and I have to struggle to keep my composure, but I work through it; I tell myself that I can get up and be strong because I am more than this feeling.

I want you to know that you are not antisocial. You are not weird. You are not insane.

You are you.

Yes, you have anxiety, but that's simply a small part of you. It doesn't define you in a whole.

So, please just keep your head up. I know you feel pretty empty and worthless, but I promise you that you are so much more. You are gorgeous or handsome, you are adorable, you are strong, you are worth it, you are wanted, you are a force of nature. And I know that nothing I say is gonna "cure" you, because as I said earlier, anxiety is a part of you. And that's so, very much okay.

I love you. God loves you. You are loved.
