Feeling him tense up Isra places her hand gently over Yami's fist and he slowly opens his hand taking it away from the chain it had gripped ever so tightly his eyes widen in shock and then soften as he smiles at her as she softly looks into his eyes with a worried expression on her face "I'm ok.... I just have a lot on my mind"  he tells her she softly chuckles and he looks at her confused then she asks playfully with a soft smile "which one!?!"  he chuckles with a smile then replies "both!"  she softly laughs letting go of his hand and looking down at the water below "I don't know if I can do this"  she says softly "please!.... I need to feel that someone is by my side.... helping me stay strong and Kaiba isn't being much help.... I need you Isra!"  he pleads softly looking into her downcast eyes and she nods "thank you!.... I know you don't remember me.... but it's nice to know that you're still with me"  he tells her "I don't remember any of them!.... they recognized me.... but I....! I don't understand what is going on but....!"  she tells him he looks at her with a surprised expression on his face as Mokuba notices Joey standing on the concrete dock waiting for them.... Isra hops down behind Yami who held out his hand to help her down catching her by the hip to help lower her to the ground then she helps Mokuba and Seto walks down on his own.... "welcome"  Joey's distorted voice says as they get closer "Joey!"  Yami exclaims "not exactly"  Joey replies "hello my lovely!"  Joey says as he looks over at Isra "your cruelty astounds me Marik!.... but as I've said before.... you want me.... come get me yourself!"  Isra replies clenching her hand in anger though it did not show in her tone "aww don't talk like that!"  Marik says through Joey making him take a step forward Yami steps in front of her protectively "ah yes Yugi!.... I almost forgot you were here.... don't you see what you do to a mans heart my lovely!?.... Yugi.... if you want your friends back you will listen to me"  Marik plays a back and forth game with his words looking from one to the other "what's going on? that sure doesn't sound like Joey"  Mokuba says "it must be one of Marik's tricks"  Seto replies "listen Joey you've got to be in there"  Yami hollers as though trying to get through to his friend and reach whatever part of his mind he's been pushed back to he feels Isra's softly touch on his arm and a flash of what looked like the Red Eyes Black Dragon standing behind Serenity appeared as she touched him which confused him he also believed that she didn't know she sent that to him though feeling her touch had calmed him just a little bit "it's pointless now you listen Yugi we are playing by my regulations I'll release your pathetic friends as soon as I get what I want of course since I want your puzzle and Egyptian God card there's only one way to do this you and I are going to duel"  Marik replies through Joey "you're insane!"  Yami exclaims "refuse and your friends are mine forever!"  Marik replies through Joey "release Joey from your control Marik!"  Yami orders.... "Joey I know you can hear me your mind is under the control of Marik and you must break free understand? the same Marik you vowed to help me crush think Joey! you've got to remember your promise to me when you gave me your Red Eyes Marik couldn't defeat me in a duel so he decided to turn you against me in order to win my puzzle and my Egyptian God card Joey I know your in there and I am going to set you free Marik's power is feeble compared to the strength of our friendship please say something Joey"  Yami says as he tries once again to regain his friend and as the body of Joey turns to walk away Yami yells "Joey!"  Joey's head turns and Marik says within him "you'll never set him free unless you follow me Yugi"  as Joey's body turns walks away once again Yami hollers "Joey wait!"....

Yami feels Isra gently place her hand in his he looks down at her hand then into her eyes there was no love in her touch but there was trust and that was going to have to do.... for now he turns his body to face the boat by the dock just as she did and they both see Téa walk down the long set of stairs attached to the giant boat just as Marik speaks through Téa distorting her voice as he did Joey's "Yugi! you better do exactly as I say!"  Yami exclaims "oh no! Téa!"  Isra thinks sarcastically to herself "if he's expecting a little girl on girl action.... he's going to be sadly disappointed!"  as Marik continues using Téa to speak to Yami "this may come as and unpleasant surprise but like your friend Joey Téa too is under my control"  Marik chuckles Yami could feel the sadness that Isra felt as she listened to Téa and Isra looks at him as he gently squeezes her hand "this is not your fault!"  he tells her inside her heart and it only made her sadder "no Isra!.... don't be sad.... please!.... remember what you told my Kuriboh I need your strength.... I can't stand to see you sad.... please!"  he begs as he squeezes her hand once more and feels her softly squeeze back as Marik chuckles then asks "surprised?"  Yami yells "Marik leave her alone now! she's done nothing to you!"  Isra thinks sarcastically to herself "I think he enjoys being a girl!"  Marik chuckles then replies to Yami as he has Téa walk past him for no one could hear Isra's thoughts "looks like I've turned your closest friends into your greatest enemies you're at my mercy"  Isra whispers softly out loud "so this is you being merciful!?!"  Téa's head turns and smiles at her then her body continues on its way to where Joey went "Téa!"  Yami says then he and Isra follow Téa Seto and Mokuba close behind jogging there way to a square shaped wooden dock where Joey and Téa now wait "welcome to my very special dueling arena look around you should you accept you'll be battling against your best friend in a duel like none you have ever experienced for the highest stakes imaginable"  Marik says through Téa Yami let's go of Isra's hand then says "alright let's duel if it means saving my friends"  Marik replies "let's begin why don't you both try these on for size?"  he has Téa hold up a rusty looking set of large cuffs then he has Téa cuff Yami and Joey's ankle to a large chain hanging high above the ground attacked to a large heavy anchor "notice that you're both securely fastened to a chain that leads to a large anchor hanging above you 30 seconds after a players life points reach zero the anchor will drop to the bottom of the sea"  Marik says using Téa mouth to speak then he uses Joey's to finish "that's right now look down that small yellow box is your life point counter but it also contains the key to your survival when one players life points reach zero the other players box opens revealing the key that unlocks his shackles remember you'll have 30 seconds to free yourself before the anchor drops"  Yami asks "so the loser of this duel will be dragged to the bottom of the ocean while the winner frees himself at the last minute?"  Marik answers using Joey's voice "that's right quite ingenious isn't it?"  then he chuckles "but wait if I win this duel will you set my friends free from your control?"  Yami asks "you'll have to fish Joey out of the sea first and don't think I left little Téa out of all the fun but I'll get to her roll shortly and just in case you had any plans of refusing to duel think again! if there's no winner within 60 minutes the anchor will automatically drop sending both of you plummeting into the sea"   Marik answers as Joey with a chuckle then he turns Téa's head to face Isra who stands near Yami on one side of the square as Téa sits chained to a throne like chair and says "how dare you block me out of your mind my lovely!.... I have so many things I wish to tell you!.... to show you!"  Isra smirks then replies "what can I say!?.... I'm curious to see if your a man of your word.... let alone a MAN at all!!.... besides I made a promise.... and I never go back on MY word!"  Marik replies through Téa "oh.... that hurt!"  but she can see the smirk on his face as well Yami looks at her and smiles "is it strange that I'm glad she's not one of them!?.... if she was.... I don't know what I'd do!"  Yami says to himself "but you will lose Yugi and before that anchor drops I'll take your Millennium Puzzle and your Egyptian God card"  Marik says using Téa then he laughs through her "you're not going to get away with any of this Marik"  Yami replies "ha! and Seto Kaiba.... don't think your merely a spectator in all this as soon as I'm through with little Yugi and his friends I'm setting my sights on your Egyptian God card-- Obelisk The Tormentor"  Marik says through Téa "alright I've heard enough this duel is getting way out of hand Seto you've got to put a stop to it before someone gets hurt plus Marik may try something like this on us next"  Mokuba hollers Isra softly passes by Yami her body brushes up against his as she makes sure that her passing doesn't push him in she can feel his body quiver at the quick touch of hers as she walks over to Mokuba "come now my prince!.... you know I would never allow anything to happen to you and there are some things that even your brother can't control!.... it's up to Yami to make the final call for this one"  she says softly kneeling down to his level Yami's eyes widen when he hears her call Mokuba her prince and watches as she takes Mokuba's hand as she stands up "as head of the Battle City Tournament I demand this duel be stopped now!"  Seto orders "or.... we could try that!"  Isra says with a playful shrug she smiles when she sees Seto roll his eyes at her and a soft chuckle escapes her lips as she wraps her arm around his waist and under his cloak "see what I mean about invisible wind!?! even him giving orders makes the bottom of his jacket fly away in fear!"  she teases and Mokuba laughs "sorry but the duel will continue as planned and speaking of plans here's the final piece of my plot"  Marik says through Téa as a machine carrying a heavy metal crate rolls in beside them placing the crate above Téa "hey what's that above Téa?"  Mokuba asks Yami looks over and gasps in worried surprise then asks "Téa! what's the meaning of this Marik?"  Marik replies through Téa "I've taken extra measures to make sure no one interferes so don't try if you attempt to stop this duel the crate you see hanging over my head will fall you wouldn't put poor Téa in danger would you?"  the Rare Hunter controlling the machine holding the crate adds "make one false move and I push the button releasing the crate above the girls head"  Yami looks at the conflicted Isra and shakes his head he knows her well enough to know that she would put herself in danger to save all of them by any means necessary she only looks at him sadly "I know Isra.... but I can't have you putting yourself in harms way either"  he says to her in his heart she looks down at her feet then feels Seto squeeze her hip and Mokuba squeeze her hand gently.....

"Now that everything seems to be in place and everyone one is familiar with all the rules why don't we start the show? oh wait I almost forgot I wouldn't want little Téa to miss all this"  Marik says using Téa to speak through and he allows Téa to "come back out" "Téa!"  Yami yells when he hears Téa softly moan and her head bows down with her eyes close Téa looks up and opens her eyes then asks "where am I? what's going on? hey I'm trapped!"  Marik speaks through Joey once again "now then there's one last matter Yugi your Egyptian God card is off limits so if you were planning on using it against me you're out of luck now remove the card from your deck so I may claim it when I win"  Isra walks over to Yami as he says "as you wish Marik I keep my special cards in here"  Isra softly takes his deck out of his card holder attached to his belt as Yami looks into her sad downcast eyes "look at me!.... please!!"  he begs to her in his heart and she looks up at him as she slides the Egyptian God card and Joey's Red Eyes Black Dragon out her hand slides over the Red Eyes Black Dragon card "take care of him for us my friend"  she whispers in her heart to it then with a small smile she hands it over to Yami and says softly with a tone only he can hear "remember.... she gets to take her bandages off tonight.... and the first thing she wanted to see was Joey battle in the tournament.... I do worry about...."  she looks over at Joey then back at Yami and continues "her seeing him like this!.... but her strength is his strength so if she does end up here.... she might help.... and she might also get put in danger.... my list of people to save just constantly grows doesn't it!?!"  she ends her words with a tease and he chuckles softly then replies "yes.... I suppose it does!"  his eyes widen when he feels her soft lips touch his cheek he lifts his hand up and places the tips of his fingers on the part of his cheek that she kissed in a feather light manner "now place Slifer on the ground Yugi"  Marik says through Joey Isra looks over at him and says "no!.... I think I'll keep him with me.... at least then I KNOW he will be safe!"  she slides the Egyptian God card in a small protective case she had sown into her bra that only opens to her touch and then she walks away both Yami and Marik smile at her "just so you know my lovely who ever wins will retrieve that card from you when the duel is finished while the loser goes swimming"  Marik says through Joey and Isra turns around with a smirk and replies "oh don't you worry Marik.... I'll be sure to hand him right back to Yami when this is all said and done!.... I also know the only reason you haven't tried anything with me is because unlike so many others..... I am not so easily controlled!.... yes I felt you try.... many times and everytime you have failed!.... playing me for a fool is a very foolish thing to do "my little dove"!"  Marik tries to act unfazed as he says through Joey "I think it's finally time to begin this duel"  Téa says with a surprised tone as her eyes start to focus "Yugi versus Joey?"  as Marik asks "are you ready to duel Yugi?"  Yami answers "I am let's do this"  Marik replies "prepare to lose fool"  Yami thinks to himself as the duel begins "is that why she forgot me!?!.... was he trying to get to her all that time with Arkana!?!"  he contemplated on that as he drew his first card.... Isra sensed the change from Yami to Yugi and she looked up from her spot on the square deck when she sees Yugi take off the puzzle she walks back over to him Yugi looks over and her and softly lays the puzzle in her hand "take care of him for me"  he tells her softly she nods with a smile and kisses his cheek as she places the puzzle around her neck and her memories of Atem return she sees Yugi place his fingertips on his cheek just as Yami did when she kissed him and she softly chuckles then whispers with a smile "like father like son!"  Yami's eyes widen in shock at her words wondering what she meant by that if it was just a phrase or if it meant something more
