johnny POV :

"That's sad to hear," I say

"It's even possible that she'll be in a coma for a month," Darian says

"Maddie (Orlando) is going to visit today, so we'll have to stay and eat here," Mom says

"It's been long since I've seen her," Darian says

"Lauren moved a little, but it was only a slight move of her leg." Mom says

"We got overly excited when we saw, but when we asked Dr. Knight, she said it was nothing very big." Darian said

"Well that's bullshit," I say

"Johnny Vincent Orlando! Watch your language!" Mom says

Darian chuckles.

"What are you laughing at?" Mom says

"Sorry," Darian say

"What time did you wake up Johnny? Seems like you were out for awhile." Mom asks

"Just had some breakfast." I say

I can't say anything about the reasons, it's a secret. Only Lauren and I were able to see it.

"Apparently a long one." Darian chuckles

"Sorry, I needed some time to think, you know?" I say

"I understand." Mom says

"We got some room service. I didn't even know you can have room service in hospitals." Darian says

"Okay. What time will Maddie arrive?" I ask

"About 4:00 pm," Mom says

I take notice that it's 6:29. Wow, I just noticed how long I was gone.

"I'm guessing you could go out for awhile, me and Darian are planning to stay here for most of the day, you know, you young people terms, 'Netflix & Chill'." Mom says

"Cringe," Darian whispers

I chuckle.

"So John, you going out?" Darian asks

"I guess I could," I say

"You can change here, I'm guessing you brought your stuff?" Mom asks

"Oh, I didn't," I say

"Well there's always such thing as clothe shopping," Darian says

"Okay then," I say

I walk out the room, as the door closes behind me.

I see the elevator open, and I walk to it.

There's someone in front of the buttons and I ask-

"Basement 3, please." I say

"Sure," she says

It opens onto my stop, and I walk to my car.

fast forward >>

I finished shopping, and I notice it's 9:00.

Do I take too long or does time pass way too fast?

Wow! That rhymed.

I walk to the room, and see Darian, not Mom. That's weird.

"Hey," I say, that rhymed, again.

"Hi," Darian says

"Where's Mom?" I ask

"She's talking to Dr. Knight, and she says there's good news." Darian says

Mom walks into the room.

"Good news guys, Doc said that Lauren is healthy, but is just not able to wake up yet." Mom says

"That's great!" I say

"It sure is," Darian says
