hayden POV

"Okay Hay-Hay, the plan is we invade the library-" Mark says, until he notices I am not paying attention and that I don't really care. I'm getting tired of being a bad kid. I wanna get good grades, have a great reputation, and stop being friends with this douche.

"Hayden!" Mark snaps.

"Yeah?" I ask yet so carelessly.

"Were you paying attention? Do you even care about this plan?" He asks, mad and curious.

"Yeah, I was. You said we were gonna invade the library and then you stopped." I say confidently.

"Good to know. But it doesn't seem like you care, so you better pay attention so that gun shop owner will give us that pistol." Mark says

What do we even need a pistol for? This guy's crazy, I regret ever talking to him.

"And why do we need a pistol, Mark?" I ask.

"Were you not paying attention to the first plan? We were gonna shoot at a window of Johnny's house, it'll shatter, someone will probably be near the shattered glass, and be injured." He says fast.

"But Mark-" I soon get interrupted by him.

"No buts! Now we need our plan for the party," He says

I take notice the time is 10:00 pm. Probably should get going.

"Mark, I think I should get going," I say

"Fine," he scoffs

I go downstairs going to the exit of the Thomas residence. Man do I ever want to see this place again.

I run one leg to speed up the skateboard, until I see something. Sophia, Mark's girlfriend, with some other guy.

I cannot see the guy's face, but she's cheating on him, and that's not good. Mark deserves it though, he's been acting so rude.

Quickly I sneak up closer, trying to recognize this guy.

Will Carpenter; little brother of Sabrina Carpenter, rich and popular family.

I shouldn't be seeing this though, this is none of my business, but maybe I should tell Mark.

5:57 am

I wake up causing the alarm to stop making such annoying noice. I better get ready for school, this is the day I'm going to change.

No more being on the tardy list, no more skipping class, no more bad posture at class, just no more of all of that.

This is my chance to change; to become a better person.

johnny POV

I place my things in my locker, closing it. Once I close it, a male figure is standing next to me.

"Good morning  Johnny," Hayden says

"If you're gonna fight with me at least tell me first," I say, a bit afraid of his next move.

"Nope, I'm done with all of that stuff. I hate Mark, and I always have. I just wanted to change today, become better." He says

"Unusual to hear from you, this is all probably set up." I say

"It's not." He says

"Are you joking?" I ask

"Nope," He says

"You serious?" I ask

"Yeah." He says

"Anyways, I was hoping we could talk at the cafe after school, you can bring someone if you'd like." He says

This is all so unreal, Hayden is never this nice. Something's up, so I'm bringing Carson.

"Thanks I'll bring Carson. See you soon," I say

"See you later," he says
