Rosie's POV

I was in my room doing my pre-morning punches on my punching bag.

Johnathan was right about my middle knuckle being sprained but I ignored him.

It still hurts and my knuckles are still bandaged so I'm only punching with my left-hand today.

"Do you ever not give that bag a beating?" I squeaky familiar voice appeared.

I stopped pinching the bag and looked towards the doorway.

My cousin, Violet was looking at me with a smile.

Don't let that smile fool you, she's just like my mom.

"Nope," I answered her question and kept punching the bag. "Why are you here?"

"I'm waiting for you to get your ass in the car." Her smile disappeared.

"I don't need to drive with you. I have my motorcycle." I stopped punching the bag.

"You mom is sending me to school with you to keep an eye on you, Rosie. That includes rides to and from school." She pointed out.

"I'm not Rosie! I'm Ace!"

"Alright Ace, whatever." She mumbled.

Yeah, my mom heard that I punched someone at school so now she's sending Violet with me to keep an eye on me.

"Your mom is right about the hair. It doesn't suit you." She looked at it in disgust.

"Violet how bout you just don't come with me. That way you can go back doing your usual old stripper job." I offered as I grabbed my water bottle.

Her jaw dropped to the floor. "I am not a stripper! I am a professional bikini model slash dancer."

"Stripper," I mumbled in a sing-song voice before taking a sip of water.

She stomped her foot on the ground like a toddler and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Now girls you need to get along." My mom appeared.

"Aunt Hailey! She called me a stripper!" Violet whined.

My mom turned to me. "Now honey, we've been over this, Violet's job is dancing and it's fun."

"Oh yeah, nothing says 'fun' like spinning on poles and grinding on strangers and/or rapist," I said sarcastically.

Both their jaws dropped to the ground.

"I'll be in the car," I mumbled before leaving.

Yep, that's my so-called family.

I doubt they even think of me as family.

I exited the house and climbed into Violet's car.

I kept sneaking glances at my motorcycle and the front door.

I smirk appeared on my face.

I hoped out of Violet's car and walked towards my motorcycle.

I strapped the helmet on and started the engine. The smell of gasoline hit my nose.

My mom and Violet appeared in the front door starring at me in shock.

I waved at them with a fake smile and drove away laughing at their red faces. They were really angry with me.

Violet doesn't like me changing the radio in her car anyway.

It's a win-win for both of us.

I soon arrived at the schools parking lot and noticed Johnathan's car was already there.
