I could really tell it was becoming winter here. Not like it wasn't before, but this is the first time I've actually saw snow. It held a light fluffy feel to it. It was actually quite calming. It was a nice day today, even better because Mr. Kon had informed me that I get the weekends off from cleaning so I can go out and adventure around. It seemed a little too cold for that though, so I decided to stay in bed and just watch the snow from the window.

I was also informed that Christmas was coming soon. Without me realizing it, I've already been at the Pure family residence for a whole month. Now, I only have 3 more to go. Gage and I have become pretty good friends. Kimberly’s become better with her attitude. And the nightmares, they've become worse.

I've been having dreams where my dad is killing everybody, and I'm in his eyes. The fears on their faces, the screams coming from their mouths were bone chilling. And worse of all, I can remember them... As if they were real. I've been good about my screaming, but I still want to. I had nightmares at my real home, but never this bad. And I'm definitely not the 'home sick' kind of person either.

"So you just gave up?" My best friend Cody asked me.

"I had to! You know how Kimberly gets... I don't know, but I still really kind of wanted that video game!"

"So, why don't you guys just share it?"

I hit my forehead, this boy... He can't take a hint! Danny as a video game... Not working!

"You don't get it! That new guy who moved here a month ago for 'being bad' I really really really like him, but so does Kimberly and she was all like 'he’s not gay!" And I was like no-! And now I have no chance with him but every time I see him with Kimberly I get really jealous and he thinks I'm only a friend!" By the time I had finished I was out of breath and Cody had his hands on my shoulders, telling me to calm down.

"Gage, if you like him, then tell him?" He cautiously asked.

"That's just the thing, I don't know if I like him like that." I sighed.

Cody shrugged, "then find out." He said before he left for home leaving me in my thoughts.

"You're no help!" I cried, throwing a pillow at the door as it closed.

I decided that out of pure boredom that I would go out for a quick walk. After I quickly got ready I headed out. It took me about 15 minutes to find my way of the labyrinth of dying flowers and onto the streets. People covered the sidewalk, walking shoulder to shoulder.

I continued to walk until I figured that I was downtown. Shops were covered by people outside, and in. I walked looking at the shops, attempting to dodge the people around me. I failed when I felt my shoulder harshly connect with another.

"Watch it!" Some punk yelled.

"Like it's not gonna happen." I mumbled.

"Excuse me?" A voice growled, whipping me around.

"I said 'Like it's not gonna happen!' Look around, these streets are packed." I hit his and away from my shoulder and glared at him.

"No one runs into me!"

My mouth dropped. "What are you like five? Cut it out, you're being pathetic." I hissed, pushing through him.

I stormed back to the house, and straight up to my room.

"Danny?"

I came to a halt before my bedroom door by Gage's voice. I turned around and stared at him.
