Third person's POV

The officer's partner examined the bowl that had dried up already , "sunbae , what can you even get from this ? Theres nothing here , you cant even check for clues , the most you'll get is her saliva or trails of the liquid that she drank before ."

"You're wrong . We can check if there was any drugs used ? Maybe she was spiked ? We would never know ." His sunbae replied him after keeping the bowl into a sealed bag , handling it with caution to pass on to his fellow colleague who was supposed to help him verify .

"And all we can do now is to interview the witnesses , we still need to fill in their stands ."

As they called for everyone who was present that day over to the local police station , everyone was taken into a small room where they would get interviewed and questioned.

"Kim Tae Hyung ."

As the male heard his name being called , he walked with a confident stride , keeping a straight face as he shook hands with the officer who was incharge of questioning him .

"I hope you would answer every question honestly and not lie . If you dont remember , you have to let me know . You have to be accurate ." The officer started off , informing Taehyung about the basic rules of interrogation . Not only was he oddly calm , he was even smiling to the officer , listening obediently .

"Alright , when did you know about Mackenzie being dead ?"

"When SeokJin hyung ran into the room to inform everyone. We dashed into the dressing room together and that was when i knew ." — it was a lie , but he managed to say it confidently as if it was all true .

"Okay , how do you know Mackenzie ? Do you know if she had any enemies? Like perhaps seeing anyone snooping around during your practices ?" He asked while Taehyung replied immediately after .

"I knew Mackenzie first when we were casted in the same Cinderella play which doesnt have much progress going on since we werent the main lead but just the understudy . We dont work as hard as the other two so we barely met up . I dont really know if she had any enemies around and neither did i see anyone snooping around during practice. But...."

"But ?" The officer leaned in curiously , waiting for him to continue .

"I dont know if it was just me , but Jungkook ... you know , that boy whos the main lead ? He flirts with every girls he sees . He's confident about himself so he would always have girls around him  . I may be wrong but i was sure that i saw him giving his number to her before winking ."

"Subsequently, they met up privately a few times and hit it off quite well , but a few days ago they weren't on good terms ..." Taehyung ended off with a light note before trying to hide his small smirk .

"Okay , thats all we have for you today , thank you for your information." The officer thanked Taehyung before letting him leave the door .

On the other hand , the head of the team was checking through the surveillance camera at the front of the house . He looked closely and requested to zoom in to every single guest's clothing , trying to match the one in the blurry photograph .

"Got you now !" He shouted in delight as he bolted for the door after taking a photo of the male , printing a photo of his face out , waiting for his other team members to report back .

Now , all he had to do , was to wait for the others to tell him more about the witness's statement
