chp 51: epilogues

Aisha's POV:

10 years later...

I woke up to noises coming from outside. It took me two minutes to know what was going outside and i groaned.
Not again!

Being a mother of two kids is a tough job, but being a mother of two kids who are boys and twins is a very tough job. I smiled remembering the day we had them. They were soo tiny that Addy was soo scared to even take them in his arms. Their single cry was able to make Addy get up in the night to calm them down.
We had name them Andrew and Abbe, Andrew and Abbe looked quite similar except for their eyes, Andrew had grey eyes like Addy while abbe had brownish grey eyes. I clearly remember when one night Addy woke up and was shocked to see them and shouted "whoes babies are these?" I quickly got up hearing it and looked up at him confused, i then saw realization set upon his face and his eyes widened in shock and guilt. " I am so sorry, i forgot i am a Father now" I couldn't stop myself from laughing at his reaction. "It's okay let's sleep" i said and we both had went to sleep only for us to wake up after 10 minute's due to their crying. They were 5 Now.
Time flies so fast when you are happy.
Once upon a time they were so small but now they are growing up so quickly, but they are still so small as compaired to this big world.

I got up from the bed and wrapped a shawl around me before going towards window to see what was going on, i saw Addy holding a jug of warm water as the steam came out of it, while Andrew and abbe were standing there all excited to see Addy throw the water and it becoming a mist. It was snowing outside and it had become their favorite sport to throw warm water and see it becoming mist. Addy threw the warm water up and it froze in the mid air making both of them go into fit of giggles while they jumped in happiness. I shook my head smiling seeing all of them enjoying it. my eyes suddenly filled with tears thinking how far we had come and how far we were still left to go. Ana was out of the prison few years early due to her good behavior in the prison, Ishan was married to Meera and lived happily with her,  Emily... Well Emily decide to become a singer and grace.....she was no more with us. I blinked as tears came rushing out again. she had died due to heart attack at her house and we were called for her funeral ritual. Addy was distraughted by this news and couldn't control himself from crying, because he had lost his mother that day, even though she was not his biological mother but they were so close to each other. That day was the saddest day of our lives, maybe time will help us in healing ourself or maybe with time we will learn to live with the grief. I blinked out of my thoughts to see Addy looking towards me with such a heated gaze that i blushed and looked down. I closed the curtains and decided to do my daily morning chores before i decided to join them after wearing a jacket, gloves and all the necessary items to protect me from cold. As i opened the door i was hit with a strong cold wind making me wince. I went towards the backyard where all of them were. Abbe and Andrew saw me and came running towards me shouting

"mommy!! mommy! " and hugged me, i sat down on my knees to hug them too.

"hey babies, I hope you two had a nice sleep" I said and they pouted in annoyance.

" I am not a baby Mom, Abbe is” Andrew said teasing Abbe.

"No way ! I am not a baby, Andrew is." Abbe said.

Addy came towards us and picked up both of them and said " OK OK no one is baby, you both are little Mens" he said and i rolled my eyes. Him and his technique of making them responsible. Apparently he thinks making them realize their responsibility from younger age will make them more mature.

"oh my god daddy let us go " both of them said as they saw their pet Savannah cat - flora and ran to play with it. The cat was trying to run away from them trying to save itself while they both were having fun chasing it. It was funny to see that flora roamed freely around the house when these two were asleep but the moment she heard their voice she ran to hid somewhere as if her life depended on it.
While these two were playing we both decided to have some "We time" and went and sat on the bench over looking the frozen swimming pool and the memory of me drowning in the pool came into my mind making me shiver. I had become phobic towards swimming pools or any other deep water places after that incident. Addy knew what was i thinking so he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me towards him making me come out of my thoughts.
" It's OK Aisha, we all are with you, especially i and i won't let anything happen to you." he said and kissed my forehead, I smiled, I was so glad that i had him, Even through there were times we fought but...well.... There is no relationship without fight,right?  We were sitting peacefully when suddenly i realized everything around was too quite, there was no noise around is.
