↳ Chapter Ten*

I lay on his bare chest exhausted from our previous activities. Out of breath we laid there in silence with our legs intertwined underneath the blanket. He gently stroked my hair as I drew patterns amongst his skin. I never thought I'd find comfort in ones arms.

I rest my hands on his chest and place my chin on them. I sat there admiring the boy who laid underneath me; a masterpiece. "We should have late night conversations more often."

Sweet Pea chuckles and flips us over. I lay underneath him completely exposing my bare chest. Leaving a wet trail of kisses down my chest he kept eye contact. "I agree, round two?"

I eagerly nod before he set his lips back onto mine. I cupped his face pulling him into a desperate kiss. Using one hand for support he used the other hand to cup my cheek. His hand to trail down my chest groping my right breast as he sucks the other. A moan escapes my lips.

Before we can go any further a loud banging on the door pulls Sweet Pea and I apart. I sit up pulling the bedsheets up to my chest, we stare at each other unsure of who it could be.

"Stay here," He orders as he quickly slips on his boxers and grey t-shirt.

"No, I'm coming with." I mutter slipping on my previous outfit, an oversized t-shirt and lace underwear.

"Why do you have to be so stubborn." Sweet Pea mumbles walking past me to get through to the living room.

"Sweet Pea this is my house!" I quietly hiss at him as he reached for the door handle. "Don't open the door, what if it's someone we know."

"I don't care, who comes and visits you this late at night?!" Sweet Pea swings the door open to reveal three serpents standing there wide eyed.

"Woah, man what happened to your jeans." Jughead chuckles as Toni shoves Sweet Pea aside before walking in.

"I knew it!" Toni proudly states, "Your little act at the Whyte Wyrm didn't fool me." Fangs stood behind laughing to himself.

"Welp, make yourself at home. We're gonna go get dressed." I say with crimson cheeks, I rush back into my room followed by Sweet Pea.

"So much for round two." I tease tossing him his jeans. I grab a pair of black leggings and slip on a indigo sweater. We shared a laugh as we got dressed.

A pair of arms slithered around my waist and breathed down my neck from behind. "Oh, don't worry princess. I'll make it up, you won't be able to walk." Sweet Pea nibbles onto my neck, I knew I was going to spot marks later on.

"I count on it." I grind my hips against his prominent bulge before walking out the door.

"What a tease." Sweet Pea huffs walking out fully dressed from his clothes from earlier.

The three serpents sat in the living room. Fangs and Jughead sat on the couch while Toni stood. Sweet Pea plants himself on the couch across from the boys while I sit next to him. "So why are you guys here?"

"Did we interrupt something?" Toni smirks eyeing Sweet Pea's hand on my thigh.

"Yes." Sweet Pea hissed.

"No." I add smacking his chest. "Whats going on?"

When Sweet Pea snuck in earlier, Jughead met with Archie, Betty, and Veronica in a booth at Pop's after Sheriff Keller killed the Black Hood. They discovered the black hoods identity; Mr. Svenson, Riverdale High's janitor. Afterward he met up with the two other available serpents to share the news with me.

Once Jughead gave all the details on their discovery I finally spoke up. "So, is he really gone?"

"By the looks of it, yes." Jughead exhales in relief. So did I and I didn't even realize I was holding in my breath. Sweet Pea engulfs me into a hug and plants a kiss on my head.

"Who would've knew Sweet Pea had a sweet spot." Jughead rejoiced while the other two laughed.

"Watch it, Jones." Sweet Pea rolled his eyes in defense. I couldn't help but laugh along. I plant a kiss on his cheek and wrap my arms around his torso.

I'll forever cherish this moment because for once everything felt just right.
