I told Johanna I would see her later, before going back inside and switching on the tv, I couldn't pay attention to it though, bad thoughts kept swirling around in my head.

'What if she's cheating on me?' I thought

'Katniss would never do that to me' I thought contradicting myself

'But why else would she lie about where she was going?' I asked myself

My mind was playing some sort of a war with itself.

I heard the door click open.

I decided to blurt it out

"Where were you?" I asked "Jo came round and you weren't with her"

She sighed "I was at th-"

"Are you cheating on me?" I demanded, cutting her off.

"What! No! Why would you even think that?" she gasped

"You told me you were with Jo, when you clearly weren't" I stated "you lied about where you were"

"That's because I was going to surprise you" she answered

"Bullshit" I retorted

"No Peeta, it's true- why don't you trust me anyway?"

"Probably because you lied to me about your location, I wouldn't of minded if you didn't tell me, but you lied to me"

"Have I ever given you a reason not to trust me?" She said, raising her voice slightly

"Well, eh, no. But... You had to lie about where you were" I stammered

"I'm going to bed, I can't believe you don't trust me" she whispered, looking down at the floor

"It's 11am" I stated

"I don't care!" She answered, storming up the stairs

"You know, if you didn't love me, you should just tell me, instead of sneaking around behind my back" I yelled up the stairs in the direction she went.

"Peeta, if I didn't love you, I wouldn't of fucking married you!" She screamed, slamming the bedroom door.

I decided I'd go work at the bakery for a while to calm down.

And so I did
