I woke up early, Katniss was exhausted, but my movement woke her up.
She yawned, her hair messy, I pulled her close to me.
"Katniss, you're tired, sleep for a bit, I can bring you up breakfast" I told her
"Okay" she whispered, rolling over onto her stomach and sprawling her arms and legs out to get comfortable.
I kissed the tip of her shoulder before walking downstairs, it was still drizzling slightly after last nights rainstorm, but the sun was starting to shine through, I decided to wait an hour before making breakfast so that Katniss would have time to sleep first.
I watched tv to kill the time before bringing Katniss up a plate of pancakes and a mug of hot chocolate, Katniss was still fast asleep, in the exact same position I left her in, inhaling and exhaling deeply.
I set the try down on the bedside table.
"Katniss" I whisper "Wake up." I gently shook her shoulder.
Katniss sat up, rubbing her hand across her eyes.
"I gotta go see johanna" she yawned after eating her breakfast
"Okay" I whispered kissing her
"I love you" she called as she walked out the door
