PROLOGUE
Everyone loves to party.
Kinda like that bread you put in a toaster and comes out right when the timer’s up. Yung taong walang ibang alam kundi mag punta sa mga clubs and drink whatever they feel. Yung taong sabay sa uso and goes to every music festivals and spends all the money he has.
Everyone loves to party indeed, pero that statement wouldn’t disappear from my mind.
“Everyone loves to party, who doesn’t?”
Who doesn’t? I mean come on, was he expecting me to answer him that I also love to party? The problem was, hindi ko alam pano ko siya sasagutin. At the same time he also asked me if I love to party. Sasabihin ko ba ang totoo o hindi? I didn’t want him to think na I’m boring. So, somehow I twisted the words and sprinkled a little bit of truth.
“You said it so yourself, everyone loves to party.” With the emphasis on the word ‘everyone’.
Okay, I just repeated what he told me. But, I meant another kind of party. Yung type of party where I can have fun on my own. Kung hindi pa rin clear, I’ll just tell you.
A party within the depths of someone’s mind.
Still confusing? Well, ako yung tipong too lazy to do anything if not being forced. Lagi ko lang naririnig yung mga friends ko about how they spent their weekends and they always mention going to a party. My party is the kind of party kung san nag e-enjoy ako with characters from different books, movies, or of my own. Others may think na there’s something wrong with me psychologically, pero that isn’t the case. I just love to think of a lot of things, and I love to work my brain and do crazy things that I wouldn’t do in real life. In short, I’m a writer. Not a famous writer or author, but I just spend a lot of time writing stories. Others like my would say it it's a virtual world, ang problema lang nasa utak lang talaga ang nangyayari at hinding hindi magagawa in real life.
Nasa bahay lang ako palagi, naka upo sa silya at naka tingin sa computer screen the whole day. Nagsusulat ng stories or kaya naman nag babasa ng fanfictions of my OTP. Kung sumasakit ng mga fingers ko, I end up watching TV shows and Korean dramas.
There’s a word that describes exactly what type of person I am, and that’s an introvert.
