Okay Alyson, I know you didn't ask for a one shot, but I wanted to surprise you with one! :D And I really wanted to write a Dillon one shot and I remembered how you once told me that you wrote, or tried to write a lot of songs about Dillon! So I figured you be a good person to write it for! I hope you like it! :) I love you! <3 Rachel

I was running along the sidewalk with my iPod playing and I was singing along. “Oh my gosh Dillon, you got a haircut!” I sang. I slowed down to a steady jog so I could catch my breath. And BOOM, I ran into someone and fell to the ground. Ouch. That hurt. “I’m SO sorry!” I cried looking at the hand that was reaching down to help me up. I stood up and looked up to see the face of the person I collided with. “Oh my gosh, Dillon!” I cried. Dillon smacked his hand across my mouth. “Don’t sing another note” He hissed. I pulled his hand off of my face. “I wasn’t singing” I said. “I was saying ‘oh my gosh’ and your name. And by the way, that hurt!” I cried rubbing my cheek. “Oh well um… I’m sorry then” Dillon said. “It’s just after Zach had Cameron record that song everywhere I go someone has to sing that when they see me. And look” Dillon said pointing to the place he came out of.

“So you did get a haircut” I said. Dillon looked at me. “I’m sorry” I said. “So, you know who I am, who are you?” Dillon asked. “I’m Alyson” I said. “I was just out for a run and I was going to grab some Chinese food and head home” “Would you care for some company?” Dillon asked. I smiled. “That’d be nice” I said. Dillon and I started walking towards Chin Fu. “So what brings you to Boston?” I asked. “Vacation” Dillon said. “And I couldn’t wait any longer to get a haircut” I laughed. “The usual please” I said to the lady at the counter. “Don’t worry, it’s enough for two” I said turning to Dillon. “I usually get enough for two and eat the rest for leftovers the next day. I really like Chinese food…” Dillon laughed.

“I need to take you to Chipotle sometime” He said. “That would be nice” I said smiling. “Well then it’s a date. Sometime…” He said chuckling. I smiled. “So when do you leave?” I asked. “Damn, we just met and you already wanna get rid of me!” Dillon cried. “No, no, no! That’s not it at all” I said laughing. “Then what is it?” Dillon asked. The waitress brought our food over. “I’ll be right back” I said. I got up and went and grabbed two forks and spoons and some napkins. “Okay, now you’re back. No answer” Dillon said as I sat down. “Gosh, Dilly, you’re so impatient” I said jokingly. Dillon looked at me and I waved. “I wanna know when you’re leaving so I know how much time we have together” I said. “Ohhh” Dillon said. Then what I said clicked. “Wait… What?!” He cried.

I laughed. “Well, we’re hanging out now and you said you had to take me to Chipotle sometime. So if we go on one and a half dates we’ve gotta go on some more” I said. “One and a half?” Dillon asked. I nodded. “This only counts as half because I am in shorts and a tank top because I was out running. Plus, you wouldn’t even be here if I hadn’t run into you. So it counts as half” I explained. “But you did run into me” Dillon said. “I know, but still” I said. “No, no still. You ran into me which means it was fate that we meet!” Dillon said. I looked at Dillon for a few minutes. “Dillon Anderson, I have never heard you say anything like that in my life” I said. “Yeah, I know, I know” Dillon said. “Just don’t tell the guys, they’ll never let me live it down” I laughed. “I won’t tell if you take me on a real date” I said. Dillon smiled. “You’ve got yourself a deal”
