Scott's POV

His uniform was a little torn from the front. He wouldn't move. I called his name but, he didn't move. I held his face and slapped it lightly.

"Stiles?" I called again.

My heart was beating so fast I thought I could distinctly hear each beat it took. My heart felt like it would thump against my chest so hard that it might rip out and fall right infront of me on the ground.

"McCall!" Coach ran up to me and a somewhat lifeless Stiles with a small group of boys from the team. "What happened to Stilinski?" He knelt down beside me and his face showed shock.

"I don't know! He just came at me and then he fell!" I kinda lied. I hit him.

I hit Stiles.

"His pulse is low." Carter said after feeling for a pulse on his wrist and neck.

"I'll get him to the Hospital!" Before anyone else could volenteer to come with me, I picked Stiles up and ran across the feild to his jeep. I took his keys and opened the door, slowly sitting him inside and then getting in myself, starting the car and driving off.

~~~~***~~~~
We got to the Hospital and I managed to call Lydia on the way to come meet me.
I lifted Stiles up and took him inside.
"MOM!" I yelled loud. "MOM!" I yelled again. My heart was thumping louder than ever.
What if I can't find Mom? What if Mom is busy with another patient? What if... What if Stiles...
No. No I can't think like that. He'll be fine. He's always okay, no matter what happens.
Mom came running to me through the hospital hall, placing the stethescope around her neck.
"Scott, what happened? Oh my God, Stiles!" She was panicked when she laid eyes on him. His face pale and still no movement. "Get him on the gurney."
I put him down on the gurney that she pulled from the side of the hall and we rolled him into an empty hospital room.
Immediately, Mom grabbed the stethescope and lifted Stiles' shirt, and my heart stopped for a mere minute.
The marks, so deep, so red, so fearful.
"Oh my God." Mom mumbled.
I did that to him. I did it. Me. The guy he calls Brother. How can I be his brother if I did this to him? I'm a monster.
She shook her head and snapped out of her daze. Quickly, she put the stethescope around her neck and she grabbed the needle and began stitching Stiles' wounds, then bandaged over them. Once that was complete, she placed the stethescope's cold metal plate onto his chest. She listened closely for a healthy heartbeat, but her facial expression still showed panic.
I closed my eyes, holding Stiles' ice cold hand and listened carefully. My inner Wolf immerging from the depths of the cave, allowing me to hear his heartbeat. I opened my eyes rapidly and looked to Mom.
"It's too slow." We chorused.
Mom took hold of the medical pipes and needles, connecting one thing after another and slowly injecting the needle into Stiles' hand and securing it in place. She placed the Celine bag on the stand. She turned the monitor on after connecting a few more wires a few minutes later, a steady, healthy heart rate could be heard.
We let out a huge sigh of relief and my grip on Stiles' hand loosened a little.
"Scott," Mom looked to me. I could tell she was still worried. "What happened to him?"
~~~~***~~~~

Lydia arrived when we were leaving the hospital room and she asked the same question. I had do the right thing.

"He just whacked out?" Mom repeated.

I told them everything. What happened in class, out on the Lacrosse field.

"So, you clawed at him?!" Lydia whisper yelled.

"It was a reflex! I didn't mean to!" I replied, trying to justify myself.

"How is he now?" Lydia asked.

"His heart rate was dangerously low but he's fine now." Mom replied. "Scott, have you called his father?"

"Uh, no." I answered slowly.

"Stiles is hurt and you haven't called his Dad?!"

"I was panicking! I kinda forgot."

"Well, it's a good thing I called him." Lydia held up her phone and smiled.

As if it were scripted, Sheriff Stilinski ran in as fast as he could and stopped in the middle of the hall.

"Melissa!" He yelled, looking around. "Melissa!"

We walked right up to him and his face was struck by fear.

"Melissa, what happened? Where is he? Where's Stiles?"

"Okay-"

"Is he okay? Please, tell me he's okay?" Sheriff Stilinski panted.

"He's fine. He's okay!" Mom held his arms and he calmed down a little, but not much.

"What happened to my son?" He asked, a little quake in his voice.

No answers. Everyone just looked at me in silence. "Scott?"

I'm dead.

~~~***~~~
One minute I was explaining what happened and now, I'm leaned up against the wall with Sheriff Stilinski in my face worried as hell about Stiles.
"You clawed my son?!" He whisper yelled.
"He swung at me first! I didn't mean to I swear! You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt him!" I replied. His grip on my shirt loosened as he back away slowly, his face showing true heartbreak yet understanding. "I'm sorry. I- I'd never hurt Stiles. He's my brother." I looked down in shame and all the guilt in me rose and formed a lump in my throat.
"Scott?" We all looked to our left and there he was. The tall pale boy I called brother.
Stiles.
