Stiles' POV

Dad and Deaton left before we entered the woods - they recieved emergency calls. Anyway, we headed deep into the woods, and it took at least a half hour to get to their home - the Den. We sat around a fire, and tents and sleeping bags were all over the place. It all looked like a Caravan site for Gypsies.

I was a little surprised. These guys had been living like this for who knows how long, and managed to keep themselves a secret the entire time.

"Uh, quick question, weren't we here to get Lydia back?" Isaac looked around, confusion on his face.

"Yeah, and we will get her back." I walked up to Katia. "Where is she?"

"Rhydian, get Lydia." She ordered. Rhydian ran off as soon as he recieved the orders, Jana following closely behind.

"Luca sometimes finds a way to manipuate Rhydian and Jana into doing something I would never tell them to do. He gets his ways sometimes, but I tend to put him back down to his level." Katia smiled, rummaging through her tent. "I didn't tell them to take Lydia. Luca did."

"If Luca isn't the Alpha, why do they listen to him?" I asked.

"Luca is arrogant. He has ways of convincing others to do whatever he wants. Arrogance runs through his veins like blood. Ever since I became Alpha, he envied me. Now, he tries his best to drive me down and take over my Pack. He has ways of making you doubt your every move, until you agree with him."

While Rhydian and Jana were gone, we decided to make conversation. I, however, was impatient.

"Here," Katia handed us boxes of Pizza. "you guys must be hungry."

"Thanks." Scott said, taking the boxes and everyone began digging in.

"This is so good." Isaac sighed, taking a big bite from his slice. Almost all of us just stared at him. "What? You try living in a place where they eat snails!"

Scott chuckled.

I looked around, my fingers interlocked and my head feeling heavy from all the thinking. My eyes felt a little heavy, and I strained to look around. Tiredness was overcoming me but I couldn't it win. Not right now. Lydia - I need to see her. I need to get her back.

"Katia," Scott began. "why couldn't we pick up your scent?"

"I'm an Alpha." she laughed. "When your an Alpha, there's a few tricks you learn." Her smile brightened up her features, making her eyes gleam brighter and her cheeks a little pinker.

"But, Luca said something about a Wolfblood? What is that?" I asked, the word still confusing me.

"There two types of Werewolves. Wolfbloods, and the regular Werewolves." Katia sat down and began explaining, like a story being told around a campfire. "You guys are regular Werewolves, and so am I. But I'm also a Wolfblood."

"What exactly is a Wolfblood?" Malia asked.

"Wolfbloods are like regular Werewolves, except they're more connected to Nature and to the adaptation to their surroundings. Wolfbloods are sub-divided into two groups; Wild Wolfbloods and Tame Wolfbloods. Wild Wolfbloods live in the wild. They hunt, and behave like a natural wild wolf. Tames live among humans. They behave and blend in with the community around them, acting as though Werewolves is just another fantasy."

"So, Werewolves like us aren't as connected to nature than Wolfbloods? Is that it?" Ethan questioned.

"Yes and no." She answered. "It's a little more detailed but, I can explain later. It might be a little too much for you guys to take in right now."
