TROY

October 21, 2013 3:00 p.m.

"It's been hours, can we stop this now?" pleaded Kade. Despite being the middle of October, it was 85 degrees outside and completely humid.

"No, you can stop when I say you can," replied Troy with a smirk. He loved making Kade suffer. It made him feel better about himself since Kade was in love with Rikki, just like Troy, even though Troy's idea of love was very twisted and warped. Seeing Kade suffer made Troy believe that he had a better chance with Rikki.

"Come on man, I know you hate me, but this is just insane," Kade argued.

"You're right, I do hate you. Now keep working," snapped Troy.

"You do realize that by making me chop wood like this will only make me stronger, right? It'll only make Rikki love my body even more that she already does," said Kade as he flexed his arms. Kade knew exactly what to say to make Troy squirm.

Troy walked up to Kade and grabbed him by his shirt so that they were face-to-face. "You listen to me, buddy. I know that you think Rikki loves you right now, but she doesn't."

"Yeah, right," said Kade sarcastically. "Rikki hates your guts, she doesn't love you. She only loves me. I'm her boyfriend, not you."

"Wanna bet? If Rikki doesn't love me than how come she slept with me in my bed last night?" Troy said with a devilish smile.

"You liar," replied Kade, not wanting to believe Troy.

"Try me," smirked Troy. "Tonight I'm hoping that we can have a little fun." That made Kade furious, so he tackled Troy and pinned him to the ground.

"You listen to me, you little bastard," Kade whispered quietly, glancing at Adam who had been watching the fight the whole time. "You stay away from Rikki, or I will personally make sure that you never see the light of day again."

"Empty threats, they make me laugh. You have no absolutely no power because I make the rules here." Kade got off of Troy because he knew Troy was right. Kade had no power. Troy could do whatever he wanted to, including steal Rikki from him. He had already done it. "Very good, lover boy," taunted Troy. "You and munchkin over there can go back to the bunkhouse. You have exactly one minute before I let out the carnivorous dog. Now move!" Troy knew that Jeff's Great Dane had been captured by the police, but the kids didn't know it.

"You don't really love her, you know. You only want to use her and then find your next victim!" shouted Kade, getting the last word in. Finally, Kade gave it up and headed in the direction of the bunkhouse.

How ironic, thought Troy to himself. These kids could get away if they wanted to, but they don't know that their biggest threat is gone. After the boys were back in the bunkhouse, Troy yelled as if he was talking to the dog, "Okay, boy, go get them!" Then Troy walked back to the house to see what the girls were up to. "Girls, I'm back!"

"Oh joy," he heard Rikki mumble. Troy walked into the kitchen and as soon as he saw her face, he knew something was wrong.

"Rikki, what's wrong?"

"Nothing that you would care about," she spat at Troy.

"Rikki, what is it?" Troy asked again.

"Well, if you must know, it's my best friend's birthday today, but I can't spend it with her because I'm stuck here as your freaking hostage," Rikki yelled, her voice getting louder with each word.

"Rikki, I'd let you go if I could, but it's Carlos and my father that are holding back. I know my dad's gone, but Carlos would literally kill me if I let you guys go. He'd hunt you guys down, and kill you too, if I let you go. I don't want you killed, so I have to do this," Troy lied. He hoped that Rikki would buy his lie. Her facial expression didn't give away whether or not she believed him.

"Troy, stop acting like a nice guy. I know you're not, so you can quit with the act," Rikki said.

"It's not an act, I really do care about you."

"No, you don't. You have no idea of what love really is. You just have a sick, twisted version of what you think love is in your head. Love is putting someone else's needs before your own. I need to get out of here so I can live my life, but you won't even attempt to get me out of here. I'm done with your little antics, Troy. I've never liked you and I never will. Like I've told you before, you could be a good person if you wanted to, but your family members are controlling you. You don't do what you want, only what they want."

"That's not true," fought Troy.

"Yes, it is. You're a terrible person that doesn't know what true love is. That sentence pretty much sums up the true you."

Rikki looked so hot when she was angry. Troy just wanted to be close to her, so he stepped closer and closer to her. Finally, he took her face in his hands and kissed her, softly at first, but more and more rough as he went. Rikki didn't do anything to stop him. She also didn't kiss him back. She stood there as still as a stone, with her hands at her sides. Troy kept on kissing her passionately. He ran his hands down her neck and arms, and then grabbed her waist. But when Troy touched Rikki's butt, she had had enough. She stepped back from Troy and slapped him. Hard.

"Filthy swine," was all she said before storming to her room.

"You're disgusting," said Kelsi as she turned to follow Rikki. "Why don't you just leave? Rikki's never going to love you anyway. Kade and Rikki are perfect for each other. You can't mess with a match made in heaven."

Troy just stood there in the kitchen. Somewhere in his head, he knew Kelsi was right, but he didn't want to believe it. Rikki was the first girl to ever reject him, and now she'd done it twice. He was so confused. He loved her and wanted to get closer to her, but he didn't know what to do.

My plan is a failure, Troy thought to himself before walking to the living room to watch T.V. I thought that if I kissed her, she'd fall for me. I think it's finally time to give up on her. I'm going to do whatever I can to make her life miserable.
