Imagine... Camila bragging about you any chance she gets, whether it's to her friends or family or in interviews or at concerts or online. She'll talk about how good you are at cooking some foods, and leave out how bad you are at others (you literally can't make soup without burning it), and how you'll surprise her every now and then with flowers and chocolates and music and dates, and how happy you are with one another, among other things. It was cute at first, and to you it still is, but everyone gets (a little) annoyed by it now.

"We get it! You're one half the cutest relationship of the century!" Your best friend since middle school eventually groaned from where they sat on the sofa beside Camila. You'd just left the living room to get a drink and Mila had already started talking about you.

"Unfortunately, not all of us are." they continue.

Camila goes quiet.

"Hey! That's my extremely gorgeous girlfriend you're talking to!" You jokingly yell from the kitchen. Laughter is heard from the living room, followed by Camila's declaration of love for you. You smile to yourself, return the 'I love yoouuu', and plan on giving her a kiss when you return, partly cause she's so freaking cute but also to rub it in your best friend's face a little.

Imagine... Camila being a goofball all of the time and basically acting like a child, even in public, and everyone wondering what you saw in her. They didn't know that that's exactly what you saw in her. You loved that she didn't care so much about what other people thought of her. And if it meant you'd have to get her that 'perfect' bunch of bananas or else she'll be on the verge of tears for the rest of the day, then so be it.

Imagine... Camila not being allowed to tell people about you two being together, but most interviewers end up asking about you...

"We're friends. I like her- well- She's my best friend." She'd say, or something along those lines, whenever she was asked about you.

Until the fans started to 'analyze' her reactions to seeing you, to being with you, to being asked about you, and yours to her. They reasoned that you were together but she wasn't allowed to tell anyone (and how they'd done it you weren't sure).

A hashtag started spreading, #loveonly, in which the fans would say that they'd love Camila no matter if she was with you or not, if she was queer or not, if you were 'just friends' or not, but also that it shouldn't matter if she was with you because 1) she'd been in public relationships before which meant the only likely reason yours had to be private was because it was still seen as 'taboo' or a big deal for two girls to be together when one or both were famous, but 2) you should be able to be proud of who you are with, who is with you, and whether it is public or private should be your own decisions. Finally, management let her tell the world about your relationship. Her face lit up when she'd first heard the news and she'd immediately given you a long, passionate kiss... Forgetting for a moment that both of your parents were in the room.

She couldn't wait for the next interview to come along and silently prayed for them to bring you up.

"So, I'm sure you're aware of the hashtag that has been spreading, love only, in support of your supposed relationship with a certain Y/N Y/L/N." The interviewer said, and the girl nodded slowly, "Now, you've had similar rumours with your old band member, Lauren Jauregui. Is it weird to hear the fans saying stuff like this about you?"

Camila couldn't hold back the giggles, and the interviewer widened her eyes, "Let me rephrase my question," she said, laughing a little too, "Are you two actually in a relationship? Is y/s/n real?"

"Yeah," Camila answered rather bluntly, her eyebrows twitching up with excitement as a smile grew on her lips, "We're together." The room erupted into cheers from the interviewers and you started clapping along from the side room which had a huge window looking into the interview room. Camila noticed you clapping and you shot her an encouraging wink, only then causing her to giggle some more and blush heavily. Oops.

From that point, she barely shut up about you. She was always finding ways to fit you into interview conversations, always randomly shouting you out, always.

"Well, I was talking to y/n- I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, BABY!- yeah, I was talking to y/n the other day about that actually and.......

I really enjoy writing these gif imagines so my next chapter might have some too... oh well.
