Kayla's POV
Alec and I left the room and we went to the weapon rack. I grabbed my seraph blade and put it in the hoister in my belt, and I start running my stele over arrows.Izzy walks over to us and Alec looks up at her then back to his arrows.
" Pick your weapon I suggest your whip." he tells her.
" whats wrong with you?" She asks him seeing his mood.
" nothing ." he says not convincing us.
"Were going to a downworlds rave Alec.Lighten up."Izzy tells Alec and he scoffs.
"It's a mission not a party." he states and Izzy rolls her eyes.
"oh come on before clary got here it was the same thing everyday, Go on a mission and kill demons,at least now things are interesting." She points out and I mentally agree with her.
"Interesting? Valentine is alive and actively seeking the cup. He threatens our entire world. And were helping his daughter. Who by the way we have no reason to trust, and showed up out of nowhere. ON top of that we're going to overpay some warlock who might not even have the answers we need. so no Izzy I don't find it interesting." Alec rambles on to us.
"feel better now?" I ask him poking his sides.
" no I don't." Izzy and I smile at him.
" ok maybe a little." he says and we both laugh.
"You can't keep bottling your emotions up Alec . its only a matter of time before they explode. and not the fun kind of explode." Izzy explains to Alec.
"Alright lets go, and we're not going for the music ." he says causing the both of us to laugh as we leave to get to the pandemonium before Jace and Clary.
Once we get to the place we check the perimeter and then we go inside and meet up with Jace and clary.
" All clear." Alec said coming up behind us.Izzy came and stood by me grabbing my arm Alec came to my other side and put his hand on my lower back.
" do you think red is my color kay?"Izzy asks me
"Iz with a body like yours anything is your color." I tell her laughing.
" your right, Damn I make this necklace look so good." Izzy gloats and I laugh but agree with her.
"will you take it off I'm pretty sure Magnus Bane doesn't want drool on his ruby when we make the exchange." Alec says
" you know most men like it when I admire their jewels " Izzy remarks and I suppress a laugh while Alec rolls his eyes.
" will you just give it to jace."Alec tells her.
" your such a buzz kill." Iz says taking the necklace off and handing it to jace. we get into the club with no problems.
"Alright blend in , keep your weapons ready." jace says and we nod and we spread out as jace goes with Clary to find Magnus. Izzy decides to go and dance in the crowd and me and Alec go by the stairs and keep a lookout.
