Kayla's POV
I woke up to yelling coming from outside the door. I look up to see that it is 9 in the morning. I notice that I am still in Alec's room so I groan but get up and go back to my room and go to the bathroom to do my business and change into:

once I'm done I go into the hallway to see what all the ruckus is about. I hear the noise is coming from clary's room. I make my way down there and I see that Izzy is standing by the door to the training room listening in on whats going on.
" hey Iz what is going on?" I ask her, she looks at me and smiles.
" I went to check on Alec this morning and saw y'all two together, you two really are adorable , but to answer your question, clary saw valentine and her mother through her necklace and she told jace and Alec walked in on the conversation and when they told him he got mad and took clary's necklace away from her and put it in a safe place." Izzy explains to me and I smile and nod
" heh thanks Izzy , but I mean he was right to put the necklace in a safe place, I mean with valentine out there , we want to make sure we take all precautions." I tell her and she sighs.
" I know , Alec was right to do that but he could've done it in a nicer way." she says laughing causing me to laugh also.
" come on Iz you know anything Alec does is never nicely ." I tell her continuing to laugh. As were laughing we don't even notice someone coming up behind us.
" what are you two laughing about?" we hear Alec say and we instantly stop laughing and turn to face him.
" um Kayla was just telling me about the guy who tried to hit on her at the club and how you scared him away." Izzy says quickly and I give her a look and turn back to Alec who has his eyebrow raised and smiled innocently.
" uh yea I was just telling her about it , you know me I can never keep secrets from her." I tell him and he seems convinced enough.
" ok, well I'm going to do my round of security so I will see you later Kay maybe we can go for dinner or something." he tells me and I nod and say sure.
