In his cabin, Edward awoken to the sound of a voice, rather a yell. He jolted up out of his bed, and heard someone say.
"Sail! From the stern! Looks like a Man O' War!"
Afterwards there was a lot of rummaging and footsteps clustering on the deck above his cabin, he then heard two people arguing.
One voice darker than the other, the other pretty high.
He quickly hurried, got dressed and went up to the poop deck to access whatever is happening.
It was mostly likely dawn or early morning judging from the lighting of the sky.
Ade and James were aft near the wheel, bantering back and forth.
"Ade you've heard the bloody tales! Hell, you've seen the damn thing for yourself, yet you suggest to fight back? It's bloody suicide!"
Kidd was yelling at Ade, motioning hand gestures in frustration while doing so.
"Master Kidd, that damned galleon has the wind to their advantage once again, it's only a matter of time!"
Ade saying, mad at Kidd but also unsure about his stance in this situation.
The crew were behind them standing there, watching them and listening, waiting for an damned order from them.
Edward popped into the scene.
He took the spyglass in Kidd's hands, walking towards the back of the ship to see what all the blabber was about.
Edward looked.
On the horizon line, a huge vessel appeared out of the ocean, it's silhouette popping out slowly.
It was the Prince, it's masts peering out of the sky.
It was tailing them from afar, the silhouette blocking the rising orange sun, the dawn sky purple to orange.
They were caught off guard once again.
"It must've waited in some inlet or something and watched as pass by!"
Kidd saying looking at the Prince.
"Gods. What do we do, they've got us by the tail!"
Ade said worried, but got his cool again.
Edward thought of all possibly scenarios, all of them involving the Jackdaw wrecked, or plunging below the waves.
Well, except for one idea, it was pretty straightforward.
"Run, we just run like smoke."
Captain Kenway saying, confident in himself...
He was a cocky young captain wasn't he?
"Pull every last sail up, let's test this ships speed!"
Edward ordered, looking at all of them, including the Ade and James.
They all just stood there in dead silence, looking at Edward.
Despite getting orders, it was probably due to the fear of the Prince instilled into the crew.
Ade realized this.
"Well don't just stand there! On with it!"
Ade commanded.
The men quickly going to the ropes and stations.
"Pipe to Quarters!"
Edward commanded.
