Ming looked murderous, Pha and Forth looked dumbstruck while Yo sighed and got up – "I will get him"

I held the door opened, not sure why I am doing what I am doing - may be because I could see that he was truly remorseful

"Kit – stop this insanity now" yelled Ming, but by then Yo had dragged the shivering boy into our door, but he left him at the door step and stood between Me and him

"Are you guys nuts?" shouted Ming "I do not want him anywhere inside my house, and you better get him out now if you don't want me to kill him"

Prem looked at everyone inside – he could see the rage and disgust on everyone's face except Kit.

He could take in the beating; he could even accept if he had hit him or even killed him in process but this kindness was worse

"What do you want? asked a new guy, whom he had seen last night, but didn't know his name.

What do I want, I was not sure – so I just kept silent, but it was Kit who answered – "Let him get cleaned up first – hold your questions until then"

The shorter guy, whose name I learned was Yo – just dragged me to washroom, gave me a clean set of towels and change clothes and locked me in saying "Do as we tell you"

Ming went silent, he was fuming inside.

"Darling, please" I turned to him but he just kept sipping at his coffee without any response

I sighed, I didn't know how to explain – I could see all three Ming, Pha and Forth were taken aback by my actions.

I just sat, next to Ming and drank my juice

Pha avoided looking at me, but Yo was holding his hands trying to calm him down

Forth looked at me, as if he was trying to figure me out "What do you want now?" he asked

"Let's get him treated first and then send him on his way" I replied

I turned to Pha "I do not think I have it in me..... to treat him, can you please?"

"It would make more sense if you ask me to kill him" he spat out the words

"I know – but end of the day he is just a kid" I replied

"Don't tell me it is your way of nesting – because this is bullshit" yelled Ming.

For the first time in his life he is yelling at me, he is angry with me – but I cannot do anything

"No" I tried to explain "He provided me with closure – for that I am grateful that's all"

"Screw it" said Pha as the bathroom door opened and 'he' stepped out

"Pha – please" I asked him "if not, I will do it" I told him

"Don't let him dear, you know Kit will treat him" said Yo, after all "He is only 18 and you are a doctor"

Pha got up without a word, went to our medicinal cabinet and took out supplies. He was not gentle while cleaning up the wounds, but 'he' never made a sound the whole time.

Ming was silent all throughout, which was against his very nature, meaning he is really angry, so I didn't say anything but continued to hold his hands.

"Why did you come here?" Forth asked again

"I , I... Er..." he sighed "I do not know" tears started rolling out his eyes

"If you are here for forgiveness for what you did, know that it is impossible – no matter how young or old you are, nothing can justify your heinous act" said Forth in a calm voice
