Chapter 10 - Filming Freakouts

Thomas POV

We are now filming the video after two days of anticipation. Y/N is progressively getting more and more excited about filming, which you can see in the literal bounce in her step.

When I saw the outfits Roman had conjured up for Y/N, I freaked out. I could honestly not contain my excitement. Today was going to be the best day yet.

As Y/N walks over towards me as Joan and Talyn begin to prepare filming, I see her in a navy blue skirt and a Steven Universe t-shirt that looked exactly like mine. Her blue skirt matched my blue jeans, and she even wore a blue headband to match. Y/N looked adorable!

"Mr. Thomas!" She whispers.

"Hmm? What is it, kiddo?" I bend down to her height.

"Where are Mr. Virgil and the others? I thought they would be here." She whispers in my ear.

"You and I are the only ones who know that the facets of my personality actually exist. Nobody else knows, and I'm not ready to share that with anyone yet, so it can be our little secret." I tell Y/N, putting a finger over my lips as if I were to silence her.

"Ok!" Y/N chirps in a normal voice.

As Joan and Talyn finish setting up, we being filming.

"What is up, everybody? Umm... I wanted to make a special video to tell you all about something that I've been wanting to share for a couple months now. I have recently had my hands full with something, or rather, someone, that I would like you all to meet." I turn around and pick up Y/N and hold her in my arms as we stand in front of the camera. "This is Y/N. I was put in charge of being her babysitter a few months ago, before her parents sadly passed away. Since then, I have chosen to adopt her, and place her under my care."

"H-hi." Y/N says, while blushing. She quickly hides her face in my shoulder, and occasionally looks around at what her surroundings are.

"Y/N is very shy, but is also a loving, kind and gentle soul. Please treat her with kindness. I do not predict that my video uploading schedule will change very drastically, but if I do have to adjust some things, please understand that it's all part of the childcare process. I trust that you will all be kind to Y/N."

"Ok! Now we are going to do the lines where we interact with the other sides." Joan says from off camera.

"Ok, Y/N, we are going to do the lines where we pretend to talk to the others but we aren't really. We're playing pretend. Like when we build pillow forts and pretend that a dragon witch is guarding it. Playing pretend." I tell Y/N.

"Ok, Mr. Thomas! Just like playing pretend!" She repeats back to me.

"Ok, let's go!" Talyn says.

We then do the lines that cut to the other sides talking with us.

"Pump the breaks, Princy!"

"Logan, please don't yell around Y/N. We've been over this."

"Virgil, it seems that you have been calmer and more content since Y/N has become a part of our family."

"Patton, it seems that you truly get to be the father figure now."

At that point we move on to Roman's lines. Y/N goes to get dressed in her costume. We decided to give Y/N her own versions of the sides, and her creative side is going to be named Royelle. She then walks back downstairs with a sparkly white dress, a red sash, and a silver tiara with diamonds and rubies.

We start reciting Roman and Royelle's lines. I love playing the parts of the facets of my personality so much. Roman is back, and more extra than ever after finding his own little princess to be dramatic with.
